Perls of Wisdom on Angeles from a Virgin-No-More
A few comments from a first-time Angeles City visitor. I'm a typical, 55 y/o average-looking but overweight guy. I have enjoyed the sport primarily in Latin America prior to this visit.
Primary comparison: for the most part, don't expect big titties or skilled sex. It can happen but the odds dramtically favor the Latinas.
I stayed at the Pacific Breeze. A few minor problems but nothing worth noting. The staff is 5-star. The facilities are new & pleasant. Because of prior bookings I stayed in the Admiral's Suite (one friend said it was larger than her house), an Executive Plus room & a Jacuzzi Suite. Overall the Executive Plus rooms are the best deal at $50 a night. Of the six nights I had a jacuzzi at my disposal, it was used only once, though the larger rooms are nice. The Admiral's Suite was $90 & the Jacuzzi Suites $75. It's a short two minute walk to Fields & Santos, in the heart of the action. Food was good to excellent but watch out for buying the juices in the morning. One breakfast for two with several juices was P1000, the next day with one coffee & my own Diet Sprite it was P500 - a savings of nearly $10US. The pool is one of the best in the area & you can order from the bar & eat and/or drink poolside. I will definitely stay there again. The maid was kind enough to move into high gear & replace the sheets & haul away all the evidence when I had an afternoon indescretion with Cherryl an hour and a half before I picked up Honey. We chatted while she was covering my tracks & she became a great asset while I was there.
Bring your laptop & a short ethernet cable. Broadband internet is available for free & it usually worked very well. I only had problems with my regular e-mail client that would immediately log me out on a regular basis, I presume either as a security measure or because the link was broken for a fraction of a second. Stopped off at an internet cafe on Real Street just off Santos and handled all my business for P7 so no big deal.
My observations; I'll try not to state the obvious:
The ride from MNL to the hotel was $50US pre-arranged through the hotel. It took almost two & a half hours in extremely crappy traffic until we hit the freeway. The driver gets about $6 for the round trip. Please tip generously. There are much cheaper alternatives but nothing as convenient.
It's the beginning of the rainy season. Most hotels offer loaner umbrellas or bring your own.
Half the Westerners wore shorts & sandals, half wore jeans or other long trousers & sneakers.
You WILL be jet-lagged. That can be a very good thing since most action is late (Midnight to 5 AM). If you think you're going to pick up a night shift gal at 7PM, have dinner & be asleep by mignight you're sadly mistaken. Thase gals normally go to sleep late becasue they work late. You're going to stay awake longer than you want. Exception: picking a dayshift gal for some afternoon fun. But again, most of the activity is at night.
The San Miguel Pilsner beer is really pretty good. The Lone Star beer sucks. The San Miguel Light beer is fair at best. No bar offers Diet Sprite, Diet Ginger Ale or Diet 7-Up. They all offer Diet Coke or Diet Pepsi. No bar offers Diet Cali (a local pineapple soft drink). Regular Cali is always available, as is sweet tea, colas and mineral water. Mineral water is just bottled water, not that crappy mineral-tasting water you get sometimes in Europe.
There have been several flames regarding the restaurants. I found good food at Mo's (Fields & Santos, a/k/a Kokomo's) and excellent food and service at the little restaurant upstairs next to Pasha, directly above Club Lancelot. The chef is German, speaks fluent English, is a pleasure to talk to & prepares great Chicken Cordon Bleau (not on the menu) and several Flambe's. Most of the girls have never seen flaming Cherries Jubilee or Mango Flambe so it's very likely you'll impress the hell out of them. Dinner for two with a flaming dessert was about P1000.
The Naughty & Nice (N&N) store on Fields (same side as Pasha & Lancelot, just down the road a few hundred feet) offers a pretty good selection of vibrators & other toys. Expect to pay 2 - 4 times the US value. Amazingly, the gals I took there were very open minded, enjoyed looking and talking with the sales girl. Get extra batteries, one of the gals I was with (Honey) originally asked "what's a vibrator?". After I bought her one she wore the damned batteries out in a single sitting.
Exchange some money at the airport so you can tip the driver. The rate's not particularly good & the Dollar is tanking right now. The hotel will also exchange money at a not-so-good rate. The place recommended most by locals is the Tourist Center next to Chow King down near the railroad tracks & the Checkpoint & jeepney terminal. Note that there was a robbery recently of a guy who exchanged a lot of money at a Cambio in broad daylight. local talk is that they guy's girlfriend's boyfriend was involved. Use your head & stow most of your valuables in your in-room safe & limit how much you exchange each day. Seperate the bills so you never flash large amounts. you know - all the common sense stuff.
There are plenty of SWs available on the cheap. Not recommended. I ran into a local ex-pat who was drugged and robbed by one only a few weeks before. If you get a gal from the bars you know who she is. Bar fines or Early Work Releases (EWR) are only P1200 & that'll last you all night. In my case it lasted 24 hours until the next barfine the following night & could have gone on indefinitely had I not wanted variety. Most guys tip P500 or so. I usually tipped P1000 [please keep you're comments that I'm ruining it for everyone else to yourselves].
The starting salary for a dancer or waitress is usually in the P200/week range plus ladies drink (typically P50 each) & EWR commissions. Most live on $200-300US per month. One gal I was with shared a room with other gals & paid P1000 per month for her sleeping space. Consequently, they typically love to sleep over in a nice hotel room.
If you head down the road to Nifty's or Rio's you'll find the area where many/most of the local ex-pats hang out. These are pretty seedy, which can be a good thing. For instance, visit Nifty's, buy a gal three ladies drinks (now you're out about $12US) and get a sample blow job in the back room behind the curtain. I took my gal there one evening and the bar girl had a customer's dick out stroking the hell out of it; didn't even bother to cover it as I walked by.
None of the bars allow unaccompanied girls. So they all want to go bar hopping after you EWR them. Although the drinks are cheap ($3 apiece or so), after 10-12 drinks apiece it can still add up after several days. Pointer: buy yourself mineral water. It'll come in a small bottle. Don't finish it? Bring it with you to the next bar & you won't have to buy another drink. Never had a problem with that approach, entering with my girlfriend-du-jour & buying only one drink.
Most girls don't get bar fined that often. So they love to bar hop. Even though they've been working for months it seems they've never been inside 90% of the other bars. They want to see them all. You've EWRed her early, the night is young. Expect her to drink enough to yak. Happened on two of the two gals I bar hopped with, though I bar hopped with one four different nights & the other three nights were fine. That could turn you into being a babysitter - one that paid for the privelege.
Experience....NOT! These are not Latinas! I was careful to pick girls I thought were plenty experienced, usually in their late 20's with children. One didn't know what a vibrator was. One put the condom on me and said "now what?". No kidding! One got on CG style & had no concept of how to move; I finally had to lay her on her back & mish it. Most are modest. Half would pull the covers up over them when sitting on me CG style.
They don't seem to mind the photo's though. Often sin ropa. Never suggested the hard core versions so I can't attest to that.
Blowjobs? Difficult to come by with most of the EWR girls. I think the issue is that they just are modest, inexperienced & shy. Honey - the one I bar fined 4 or 5 times did a passable job. Actually, a very good job, just not to completion. She told me her friend she shares a room with taught her how. She has an 11 year old daughter. No wonder the guy left.....
Birth control? Not sure here, but it sure scares me. Essentially all will go bareback. One pulled my condom off just before she got on, then just as I was coming, she jumped off. I don't know about you, but somehow the withdrawal technique is not particularly satisfying.
STD's? Don't know, but that also scares me. Not enough to skip the DATY but enough to use condoms every time. They all get their bi-weekly "Hygiene" checkup but there is much debate among the local ex-pats as to the efficacy of that exercise.
Speaking of DATY - they all loved it and acted as though it was extremely rare for them to receive. Unfortunately, some were still in the giggle stage which is a real wood-eraser for me. That damned Honey wore my tongue out.
They all want stability in their lives. They'd move in with you in a heartbeat. Expect e-mails when you get home telling you how much they love you. I would presume e-mails looking for money will be following shortly. Resist or not - it's your call.
Take a gal to the mall, spend a hundred dollars on her over a few days, take her to a movie & she yours to do with as you wish.
Photos in the appropriate section, some G-rated out of respect for the gals.
BTW - there is a competing commercial web site that provides a wealth of info for the first-time visitor. Also loads of pictures & some opportunities for private parties. I attended a private pool party & had a blast. PM me for the info. Also available are a few good maps of the Fields Ave & Perimeter Road areas. These are quite handy when visiting.
