Hmmm, interesting theory. What do you do to combat jet lag?
Gentlemen: My first trip to PI from California in 2001 had terrible jet lag that took a week to get aclimated. I have found following to be helpful.
1) stay up late or do not sleep much in the days before your flight. This seems to prime my pump for the time change.
2) get a doc or friend (women tend to use them) some sleeping pills and use them during the flight to to into "suspended animation". It makes the 12 hour flight into a 4 hour flight
3) when you arrive try to adapt to the local time, meaning go to sleep and rise at your normal times. Use sleeping pills if you have to. During my first visits I slept during the day and I think it made my jet lag worse.
4) best cure is find a babe and bonk yourself silly, then go to sleep.
