It gives you options how much data you can put and you'll get your data almost right away. Very convenient and you don't even have to leave your hotel or Airbnb.

When I land and turn on my Medellin phone it's alive with 4 Gig of data and 7+ days of usage. I don't understand how it works that way without me even selecting a plan but I'm glad it does. And it appears to add 15 mil pesos to my balance (saldo disponible) on top of that to buy additonal weeks on longer trips or phone calls to the USA. Ding works with many different phone companies including Cuba SIM cards that I've had in the past. Yeah you pay a small service fee with each transaction (included in the $5. 73 here) but it's well worth the convenience for me.

Using your reasoning, I think Bogot is a much better destination because it has 100 times more Michelin star restaurants.
I have been to some of these restaurants. I don't remember what I ate exactly. I took my Colombian friends to one and they were stunned at the price when they peaked at the receipt. Some of the restaurants only open limited nights. As a result, I think they are overpriced, relatively speaking. There is another one on the news because they could not afford the rent increase but the news did not mentioned they don't open every day and is only for dinner. What does that imply?
A Colombian woman has been accused of murder after her American Tinder date died after meeting her in the city of Medellin.
Paul Nguyen, a California-based logistics consultant, decided to visit the popular tourist spot for its vibrant nightlife and a reputation for being friendly to 'digital nomad' workers.
The 27-year-old murder victim travelled there in November with a friend with the intention of sightseeing, experiencing the nightlife, and going to a Bad Bunny concert later that week.
While he there, he matched with a woman on Tinder and agreed to meet her at a bar in the bougie neighbourhood of El Poblado.
Nguyen shot a candid photo of his date when she wasn't looking. The young, slim, brown-haired woman was wearing a white jacket and dark jeans.
He shared it with friends on Snapchat, writing 'the language barrier is unreal. '.

Tragically this was the last time they heard from Nguyen and the next morning his body was found next to a dumpster in another neighbourhood just over five miles away on November 10.
His wallet and phone had been stolen and it was believed that he was the victim of a botched drugging during a wave of Tinder honeytrap robberies in Colombia.
Colombian police announced the arrest of the woman Evelyn Henao Herrera, 21, on Tuesday (April 4).
Herrera and another man, seeésar Augusto Mendoza López, 28, were charged with aggravated homicide, qualified and aggravated robbery and conspiracy to commit a crime for the purpose of robbery.
A second man, Bryan Taborda Herrera, 25, was charged with qualified and aggravated robbery and conspiracy to commit a crime for the purpose of robbery.
Scams involving dating apps are common in Latin America and focus on foreigners and wealthy locals, luring the men to meet women via dating apps, and then drugging them for days at a time as their bank accounts are emptied.
"We mourn every day and continue to do so until justice is met," Paul Nguyen's sister Amy told Vice.

Nguyen's friend was concerned and contacted his family when he failed to return to their Airbnb and they noticed that his credit card recorded several odd late-night transactions.
It's believed that Nguyen was drugged with a sedative called clonazepam at some point during his date.
"Sometimes the victim does not lose consciousness, does not lose will, begins to become aware of what is happening, so they go on to administer much more drugs," explained Jorge Wilson, a local private investigator who has been investigating the American's death.
At least 41 people have been victims of similar drug-related robberies in Medellin in 2023, according to Colombian news outlet Caracol Noticias, although it's unclear how many were related to dating apps.

Tinder said in a statement to Vice: "Tinder prioritizes the safety of our members.
"What's been reported is terrible, and our thoughts are with the loved ones of the victims, as well as with the survivors.
"Tinder stands ready to cooperate with local law enforcement to support their investigations. ".

Bogota is hands down a eutter gastronomic destination than Medellin, in terms of variety, quality and quantity. That said, Medellin has more than enough high quality options for a two to three week vacation.

It could mean that she is putting on an act so that she could earn some money again if you see her again. Now I would say It actually doesn't matter if you are happy with her performance and she is happy to earn money with you. I had a friend when I was in Mexico that was seeing this girl at the agency and he thought she was falling in love with him and enjoying the time with him. I had introduced him to the agency. Subsequently the agency told me that they prefer that he take his business elsewhere and that the girl despised being with him because she felt he was rude and rough with her. If you're filling out to checkmig form, and it just won't work or you keep getting an error message, sometimes you're not doing anything wrong. Often it is because you filled out one of the blanks wrong. But on a few occasions including on this trip, what I'm filling out the form on my phone and doing everything right, I get an error message saying my flight number is wrong. I was using the Google Chrome browser and I kept getting that error message. So I switched to Firefox and everything worked. Now twice they got the airline wrong when I filled out the flight number but that seems to be okay. As long as you get the confirmation, it doesn't matter. Others say if you're on the phone, switch to the computer or vice versa. Now I would add switch browsers if you're running into some glitch. One glitch is a drop down menu, that is just gray and has no selection. So if you're running into a problem, try switching internet browsers and it may help.
