This was my first trip in BCN, and i had a blast! Now, time to plan another trip here soon! anyways, here's my report:

I arrived at the airport and caught an Uber / Taxi in T2 level 2. Uber doesn't work as good in BCN as it does in the US, I guess some kind of dispute but Cabify and FreeNow are very good alternatives. The public transportation system here is supposed to be great, but I only used rideshare and walked a lot.

I checked into my hotel in Passeig de Gracia and my first impression of the city is that this is a great place to visit, beyond the mongering scene. A lot of young people walking the streets and beautiful girls to be seen everywhere, WOW. And interesting places to visit. IMO this area is perfect to stay, I was able to walk pretty much everywhere in about 15-30 min. When pressing for time I used Cabify and it was usually less than 10 Euros a ride.

To get some cash, I tried different ATMs in town, but noticed most have a low cash withdrawal limit, 600 euros max in my attempts. My bank has a much higher limit, so my guess is this is limited by the local banks.

I am not a much frequent reader of ISG. I do, however, read relevant threads when I plan a visit to any city other than Bcn. I thank all the contributors for that.

I don't live in Bcn but I frequently visit the city for work and pleasure. I have been to many countries (purely for mongering) and I ve concluded that, at least for me, Bcn is the best mongering option. So, gradually, I became a member of the local boards and started contributing. By now, I have reviewed 40+ chicas.

So, here are my 2 (or 3) cents:-the:

If you are visiting Bcn via airport, you should buy "T-USUAL" metro pass online from tmb. Cat (transport metroplotican bcn site), or from the kiosks installed at the airport. Keep in mind that, quite often, the kiosks do not accept larger denominations. Last time I bought it from kiosk, I had 50 note which was returned by the machine. So I had to get a change of 50 from a kind man and fed it 20 note. Nearby vendors were of no help (ofcourse).

The machines do have an English interface though.

It used to be 40 but these days it is only 20 (due to local govt's rebate on public transport tickets to manage fuel consumption by cars etc).

This ticket allows you unlimited train (metro) rides from / to airport and unlimited free metro and bus rides within barcelona. For 30 (consecutive) days! Basically it is your free any-public transport pass for Bcn (metro, bus, night bus, tram. Todos).

Select "Zone 1" while buying the ticket. You will have to give your passport num (or any other ID num) while buying. In my experience, it is just a formality.

T-USUAL is the only combo-transport pass that allows / includes airport metro rides.

Even if you are visiting Bcn for 2 days; you are most likely to spend over 150 for cabs (from airport to city, within city and from city back to airport).

Fun fact: All the airport trains (called L9's* . Read L9 Sud. Read L9 South:-D) are driverless (automatic) trains.

You can use the airport free wifi to use google maps. Put in your destination address and google will give you public transport options. Bcn has one of the World's best public transport systems. If you do not have local SIM (Mobile data), take screenshots of the trasport options and start you journey from T1/ T2 using your 20 pass. I am suggesting screenshots because if you don't ve mobile data, then you wouldn't be able to use google maps enroute.

Generally, it takes approx 55 minutes from airport to city centre (Pl catalua / Passeig de Gracia area). Google will most likely give you "Collblanc" metro station as your drop off point from L9's. It has good links with other metro lines. Just follow the steps suggested by google maps.

For example, if you want to come to Passeige de Gracia area, google would suggest 2 options:

First would be to take L9's from airport to Collblanc metro station (12/13 stops from airport), drop off at Collblanc metro station and change to L5 in the direction Vall the'Hebron (within same metro station). Ride few stops (5 or 6 I think) and drop off off at "Diagonal" metro station. You address would be approx 7+ minutes walk from there.

Second would be to take L9's from airport to "Zona Universitaria" metro station (13/14 stops from airport. It is next stop after Collblanc), drop off at Zona Universitaria metro station and change to L3 in the direction Trinitat Nova, ride 10+ stops and drop off off at "Passeig de Gracia" metro station. You address would be approx 3+ minutes walk from there.

If you take screenshots of these steps given in google maps, you don't need mobile data to reach your destination on public transport. You can even click on the "walk" portion of the map suggestions and note down which streets you would be using to walk.

You can buy a local SIM (10-15) with about 5 GB of mobile data from any "movil" (read mobile) shop. They are every where. Literally!

Lyca SIM is 10 with 5 GB data. Vodaphone is 15 with same package (I think. Because I had asked a local friend to buy it for me and send me the whatsapp text message code to activate my new whatsapp number. Almost all SIMS are valid for at least 28 days without any further recharge.

Buying a SIM from airport would be an additional 10-15 (with same package).

Use the mobile data and google maps app and roam around in the city like a local.

Coming to mongering now.

Before I start with the meat, let me give you few useful tips on using the local boards.

The web address of Teensbcn (a famous house) is:

To read the web address of this (or any) blog, carefully read the part after ". Com".

In this case, "provenca-12 x-urgell" is the street address of the house. It means that it is located on "Provenca street, 12 x". The last "x" is the digit of the street adress which would be sent to you on your whatsapp (by the manager) when you tell them that you have arrived, or you are nearby. In this case, it could be any adress between Provenca, 120 to Provenca 129.

The "Urgell" part of the address indicates that their house is located on Provenca street where it meets the Urgell street.

So, you could put in "Proveca 124" in your google map to reach nearby. And then ask for the exact address.

For the sake of the privacy of the house, I will not disclose their exact address here. However, you can easily reach them with the approximate address given in the web address.

Next part of the web address, "632xxx045" is the contact num of the manager.

You do need to save it in yout phone with the Spain prefix. In ths case, you would need to save it as +3463xxxx045. If you are using a non-Span whatsapp num, this is the only way to go.

This is true for all the web address of blogs of houses and independent chicas.

Do use the google browser's "translate" feature because the sites are all in Spanish. This 'translate' featute, to the best of my knowledge, is only provided by google chrome browser. There may be others that I do not knkw of.

Now let's get to the meat, in both senses of the word.

In Bcn, there are 2 main mongering options (like almost every where).

The houses.

The independants.

The houses:

3 houses are famous among locals.

Teensbcn, vecinitas and Eden.

The rates in all 3 are: 70 / 30 minutes, 100 / 45 minutes and 120 / 60 minutes.

The only exception is vecinitas' 30 minutes tariff; which they have recently increased to 80. Rest of their tariffs are same as mentioned above.

Standard services in all 3 are: DFK, BBBJ and CFS.

Regarding CIM:

Vecinas: All gals provide it as standard service.

Teensbcn: Few gals provide it as standard servce. Others ask for a supliment of 20/30. You have to ask the manager.

Eden: No gal provides it as standard service. A few provide it with a supliment of 20/30.

Let' see these houses one by one.

Teensbcn:

It is located 2 minutes walk from Hospital Clinic main entrance gate and Hospital Clinic metro station. As I said before, up untill a few months ago, CIM was a standard service here. It is no more. This house has seen many ups and downs. At one time in 2017 (when they were at another address), it used to be the most famous mongering place for locals. Its strength was (and is) the quality of its gals. I have had many beautiful and wonderful gals here. The weakness has been, for most part, the weak management. Up untill recently, they didn't even have a blog. Gals would mostly come and go as they pleased. These days, it is being managed by an ex WG, who is doing a pretty decent job in organising the appointments. Also, another floor has also been merged with it, increasing the number of options.

It's address is Av Diagonal 34 x. Nearest metro is "Verdaguer" on L5 (3 minutes walk).

Or, metro station "Diagonal" on L3 (7-8 minutes walk).

They used to be vecinitas 1 & 2 back in 2017/18. But since long, they have merged as a single house.

The manager does a good job in managing the appointments.

Both, the number and the quality of gals here is one of the best in town.

Like Teensbcn, they also update their blog daily to announce the availablity of gals.

Independant gals, mostly, group together and rent an apt for work purposes. Apts are generally well located and clean. At least clean enough for their purpose.

These gals (mostly) charge between 100 and 150 per hour. The rates of 30 minutes and 45 minutes decrease correspondingly.

I have never been with a gal who charges more than 150 per hour. And it is not only because of the higher rate (though higher rate hurts every pocket). For most part, it is because such gals tend to turn out to be rip offs. I am not saying every 150+ gal would be a rip off, but the likely hood is on the higher side. Quite higher actually.

There are so many independants working in Bcn that it is really difficult to list them here.

When you get the results of your search, do see the date of last post mentioned beside the web address of each gal. If the date is too old, the gal may not be active any more.

Let me give you another tip as to how you could further use the local boards to find out which gal is good, which gal is tall. Thin etc etc.

You could, of course, ask the manager of the house on whatsapp. But she is usually too busy to give you detailed response. Plus, she has an obvious and understandable bias in favour of the gals of the house. So here is what you can do to read her reviews:

For houses:

For example, Estrella is a famous Teens gal.

Keep in mind the address of the house (for Teens is "provenca-12 x-urgell" . It is part of their web address).

Hit the "search" magnifying glass icon on top right of the page. It gives you a search bar. Type in "Estrella" in the search bar.

It will give you the blogs and reviews of all Estrellas regiatered on the site. This is where it gets mildly tricky. The result would include all the members with "Estrella" handle. But the results page would not just show the handles. It would also show the corresponding* blog / reviews web address of each Estrella along with date when some one last posted on that thread. Look for Estrella who has blog address of "urgell-12 x-provenca". The result would also specify whether it is "blog" or "reviews". Click on the "reviews" result. This will open the page containing her reviews in chronological order.

While reading the review, see the credetials of the reviewer as well. These are given in the start of the review. It includes the handle of the reviewer and the total num of reviews published by him. This would give you a decent perspective.

A word of caution: Most reviewere (called "foreros") tend to avoid using direct and explicit negative comments. They do, however, imply it gently or hide it behind a joke.

Moreover, few foreros tend to 'over praise' the gals of their liking. It is a natural thing. If some one likes a girl too much, he would praise her too much. If a forero has reviewed a gal more than once, you can see it at the top of that review.

For example, there are quite a few of my personal favs in Bcn. Some of them I ve reviewed more than 3/4 times.

So, while reading my review on that gal, it would say, "posts by this user in this thread: 4".

Lastly, a review by a forero with a total of "1" review published immediately after a negative review by another forero, is worth looking into.
