Good point Mr. Jchipper but.
I read in economist magazine a couple of months ago that Colombia has one of the highest functionally illiiterate populations in South America and also has the most unequal income distribution in the world. I don't see that changing any time soon, and we all see it in MDE, massive shopping malls in Poblado and abject poverty when you.
Use the metrocable. So, while you are absolutely right above Colombia's economic growth prospects, in some ways.
It makes it better, as the girls want more, and will be more willing to put out (just my observation!). I had the best time there the last time I went.
One always has to be careful of course, the girls will latch on to you, and there is always the crime element. But I don't think massive change is going to come anytime soon to that society, the extremely high single mom ratio, girls getting knocked up at 16 then turning to the casas to make ends meet. That won't change.
Also, you are right about other places, I find SSalvador equally or more appealing then MDE now, and will be.
Trying other places.
I don't have a business to promote here
Maybe I'm blind, but I don't see it. Outside of Poblado, honestly, I have never run into another gringo. That.
Includes all the casas I have been to, and el Centro. I ask the girls and they all say the clientele is 95%+ local.
You are off. Don't ask the girls, they lie. The casas are loaded with foreigners a lot more than 5% but really who cares? Why should that be a problem?
I believe the casas are about 15% but would be higher if the economy in this town weren't doing as well. As there are more local customers than there were 6, 8 years ago.
Most of you cannot spot the foreigner because they blend in if they dress average. A lot do. That guy waiting on the sofa speaks spanish so he is a local. No. A lot of foreigners speak Spanish well or at least better than you. Any speaker of spanish whose level is slightly higher than yours, well, sounds fluent to you, hence they must be a Colombian and not a foreigner.
When you are able to distinguish the Costeņo from the Caleņo or Rolo you will spot a lot more foreigners just with your ears. Not every foreigner is 50 overweight pink skinned blonde with a long sleeved shirt tucked in.
The situation worth considering regarding the casas is not how many foreigners frequent but that more and more of the girls working in the centro casa are true lesbians. Which is why it is more mechanical toe nail clipping non GFE. A lot of girls you are with at these places are not into guys.
I bump into obvious and stealth foreigners all the time outside of Poblado. Not that I have a ptroblem with that.
