I just watched this movie called Plane about an airplane that crash landed in the southern Philippines on some island called Jolo and the passengers were taken hostage by an armed militia group. I then went to Wikipedia to see if this Jolo Island is a real place or if the movie just made it up and according to Wikipedia it is a real place and it is controlled by armed Islamic Separatist and even the Philippine military doesn't go to that island.
So Texas Pete, whatever you do while in the Philippines do not go to Jolo Island LOL. And you might want to do some research and see where all these Islamic separatist groups operate within the Philippines before you go off to any random pueblos or islands.

You can see from this picture I just took for you that the money literally says 50 mil pesos on it. It's the 2nd highest bill in the COP currency and used to be worth about $10 usd and it is currently worth $12.50 usd.

Most the members here on ISG are in their 60's and the parents are most likely deceased. People have been mongering there for decades, if anything Colombia is the new SE Asia. SE Asia was the first and foremost place for people to pay for sex, esp Thailand & Philippines, and arguably way past its prime (which is what Medellin will probably be in another 2 or 3 years at most). Anyways in regards to the current debate of Colombia vs Phils, it's much cheaper and more convenient to monger in Medellin. I've been to both cities many times in the past few years. It's pretty rare to have sex with a girl in Manila for 100,000 colombian pesos. You're looking at 3500 PHP barfine and another 4500 PHP, plus probably more for lady drinks so around 150 USD. Sure you can probably find a girl on Pinalove for less, but good luck weeding through the scams and ladyboys and actually getting the girl to come over on time. Anyways just go pop in the Manila forum and you'll see. The girls are hotter in Colombia IMHO, but to be fair the girls are more GFE in Manila and they speak english. Also Medellin is a much nicer city in general (cleaner, more beautiful, better weather, less traffic, better nightlife) than Manila, even if it is slightly more "dangerous".
Quick side note: Ordered a girl off of mileroticos for domicilios, she's cute, nice although found out she was a vennie, great BBBJ and beso negro, but during sex she had the worst yeast infection. Good thing I was wearing a rubber, but a few minutes into missionary there was cottage cheese everywhere. You could tell she was embarrassed and even stopped in the middle to go shower again and change condoms. Anyways switched to doggie after the halftime cleanup and it was a bit better and I tried to finish sooner than usual. So what would you guys do in that situation? Chalk it up to the game? Or ask for some kind of discount? Every place has its pluses and minuses. If we are talking about 15 to 30 days per year for visits, my opinion is it is worth considering the entire day of your life you must sacrifice for round trip travel from Europe or North America to Asia, and that is on top of the 1 to 3 days that it takes to be 100% because of the jet lag. I don't personally feel that is worthwhile unless I'm going to be there for months at a time. This is only a personal preference.

I am traveling in late March and I'd like to lock in my lodging. I am looking at a few places and I am trying to decide the pro's and con's of staying close to Parque Lleras or not. Not looking to hit the bars or clubs etc. Strictly going down to enjoy as many ladies as possible and want to maximize my time doing so. Knowing that, do you all think it's worth staying close to Parque Lleras? With the low cost of uber I don't feel like I need to be in walking distance of anything in particular. I plan on splitting my time between casas, massage parlors, and places like New Life and Jade Palace.
In terms of what I am looking for in my lodging, I am looking for a place that has no fee or a low fee for visitors so I can bring some back to my place. I'd also like a place that has a suite type setup since I will be there for several days and want that apartment kind of feel. I'm looking to keep it in $150 or less per night range but I am willing to go a tad higher.

Mil is simply "thousand" and un millóand is "one million". 50,000 pesos is 50 mil.

I have had several online "relationships" including video chats with filipinas who, according to my taste, were 100% as hot as anyone I saw in Medellin. I'm not worried about that. They may however be more shy and less wild in bed. That may be a minus. I"ll have investigate in person.
The climate sounds terrible. I'm going to aim for very good air conditioning.
However in terms of crime the possibilty of anything worse than pickpocketing seems to be almost nil. That sounds good considering the deteriorating situation in Medellin. I think that tips the scales for me.

You my friend, Texas Pete, are delusional. Medellin isn't any more or any less dangerous than it has been since before the pandemic. It was actually much more dangerous in the 1990's than anything being experienced here today.
Like I said before you can't just come here for a few days (or even two weeks) and visit a few Casas and then proclaim yourself to be a Medellin expert.
Quite frankly you do not have the experience here in Colombia to even know anything about Medellin. You need to come atleast 10 trips to get a feel for the area. I've been here on and off for years and before that I was in Mexico for a number of years. So I know more about the cultura & LOS costumbres here in Latin America. And from what I have seen here, Medellin is not anymore dangerous than Tijuana or Mexico City.
The Scopolamine or benzos might be more of a Medellin thing but you can easily avoid being drugged by taking simple precautions to mitigate your risks. Anyways sorry you didn't like my city or even really give it a chance, maybe you will find better luck in the Philippines.
