Dude, that ain't crazy, that is Colombia.
I'll never forget the hotel I always stay at in Bogota, one night I woke up feeling dehydrated and I wanted a soda or juice or something and I came down to the lobby and during the pandemic they always sold sodas for like 2 mil pesos and they had a little nevera with postobon products but by early 2022 they didn't have it anymore.
So anyways I told the night manager dude Sergio that I wanted to buy a soda and if he knew any place nearby that was open (it was 3 am). Then he called up some dude he knows that has a tienda and told him to bring me a jugo hit on his moto.
Then, I shit you not he pulls out this big ass fucking pistol that looks like a 9 mm or something and clocks it back and puts it on his waist under his belt and tells me "vamos a esperarlo afuera. ".
Then we went to go wait outside on Cra 13 and the dude pulled up on the moto like 10 mins later with a big ass jugo hit sabor de mora for like 5 mil pesos.
Dude, that ain't crazy, that is Colombia.
What?! Those diners were carrying? That's real crazy!
Dude, that ain't crazy, that is Colombia.
Yea this isn't Mexico. I Colombia people can have guns.
Plaza Botero area, based on my reading, seems to be a popular area to stay as well. I have not been but, am considering that area myself.
Plaza Botero area is not an area that is safe at night. Not at all.
I've only looked around Lleras Park due to high volume of ladies but is there another neighborhood / area you all recommend to stay in? Looking to maximize time and see as many ladies as possible with the intent to take some back to my hotel / Airbnb. Wasn't sure if there was another area or two I should look in besides around Lleras Park.
Depends on what sort of things you want around you. Other parts of Poblado are great and Laureles area is fine too.
Why would they not? I carry everyday when I am in the USA and have one for each day of the month.
As someone that has a bad ass revolver for home protection, I can't imagine carrying everyday or one day for that matter. What do you think is going to happen. Waiting for some mass shooter to come in Walmart.
Plaza Botero area is not an area that is safe at night. Not at all.
Aren't you the guy that was going around plaza botero at night carrying the baton ready to whack people's hands if they tried to touch you LOL??
Here is an article on zero hedge about a bunch of dating app murders in Colombia. When mongering news makes it to a site like zero hedge, you know shit is getting real.
https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/americans-warned-about-dating-apps-after-8-suspicious-deaths-colombia
Zero Hedge copied it from The Epoch Times. It has a link too to original one. Anyhow, we got the point.
Dude, that ain't crazy, that is Colombia.
I guess the crazy part is I've walked past that area hundreds of times and even eaten there a few times. Seems like such a peaceful and pleasant setting.
I'm looking at an Airbnb in Laureles. Really nice apartment condo. Has 24 hour security. Great reviews. Has AC and all the amenities that I need. But it says, "No Sex tourism". I still did try to ask the host, if it's "guest friendly' or if visitors is allowed.
He said 'Yes', visitors are allowed. As long as they register in the reception with valid ID. Rules must be complied such as, Parties are not allowed and Loud music is not allowed because it is a residential building. So does it mean it is Chica friendly? As long they are dressed normal and obviously not looking like a prepago.
I think you will be OK. Don't be surprised if some of your dates show up without acceptable ID. In those situations you can use one of the many motels or love hotels nearby. I recommend you plot directions to a couple of them from the airbnb on one of the mapping apps. You might also get flak for multiple dates per day. Hopefully it doesn't happen but if it does that will be another reason to have the motel option available. You other option is of course find a different airbnb. There are many.

Honestly I'm just trying to maximize my time with as many women as possible haha. I don't mind using Uber to get around. It's about a 1/4 mile from Lleras park.
I found an AirBNB that verified they have security and are visitor friendly. Not sure if it will allow me to post the link here but it is:

Speaking of weapons, I was planning on bringing down a pocket knife that has a blade about 2 in to carry around with me. What are the laws and how likely am I to be checked? I'd rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it just in case.
