As 99% of soapy parlous do, they have different price rangers. This is because some ladies work for 1 amount of money and another style lady for another amount of money. I wanted to get in some of the other style ladies, so we had another price level, where the ladies will get more money.
We then tried a much lower price point as well, so in total we had.
1000 price.
1700 price.
2500 price.
The test was to see which was the best for the business and also can each price point get enough customers to open it's own place and that price.
In the end once we got the 2500baht price fulling running, we was so busy, we did not have enough rooms and it was to a point that the 1700 price ladies where at maximum 5% of the daily amount of ladies taken, which where taking up needed rooms for the 2500baht price. The 1000baht price had there own small rooms, so they did not effect it as much but we found out that this price point did not work for Annie's but would work in another place (after further tests).
It made perfect sense, move the 1700baht ladies out to a new place (which we was lucky we had a friend willing to take them and still keep them semi connected to me) giving us the needed space for the more popular girls.
Now Annie's only has the one price this is the one that sold the most, if the 1000baht price sold the most maybe we would have done it the same with that.
Dr BJ himself being quite clever, seeing the 1000baht prices and thought it would work in another shop and that is what he is calling budget bangers.
So again, no price increase, we added more choices at first. We let the customer choose which price / ladies they wanted. You could say over the 3 years that we had the different prices once we took out the 2 others 1000/1700 in the end the prices where higher but then when we opened in 1973 it was 500baht as much time as you want in the room.
Any shop sells the products and set the prices based on what the customers wants and can buy, which is what any good retail will do for good business. We sell for a price that give us profit as this is what any business does and the ladies work for a profit which they want to work for. This is the perfect price for this business and the ladies that we have ever had. The test showed us the product which was best and at which price.
If no one took the 2500baht ladies we would have no ladies as they would be having no work and we would be having no Annie's as no customer taking ladies and no money to run Annie's. 100% we have more ladies than we have ever had before at the moment, the reason is, we have more customers than we have ever had before.
Tourist numbers maybe down in Bangkok but there are still millions of tourists, so let me explain it this way.
For example tourist numbers gone down 10%
Annie's numbers up 40%
It does not matter what the country is doing as long as it is not down some crazy number like 95%
