There's no doubt the online girls are more clingy and will hound you more. I avoid them because I have too soft a heart to listen to them cry. I prefer the hard core hookers where they know it's a business transaction.

They probably spend more time at BATS in the hotel than you'd care to know!

I've only been asked a few times why I'm not staying at Shangrila, and it gave the game away pretty quick.

That said, they usually are trying to bolt out of the room ASAP these days. But the actions when kicked out are in line with P4P I. E. I didn't win this morning, so I'll try my luck tonight, or whenever. If I don't find a bigger payer first!

They are likely hard core hookers running a scam on the dating sites trying to get more than just the 1 million or so they could get for one night of sex by finding a long distance sponsor. And white guys are not their preference most of the time. They normally prefer a rich Chinese or Japanese guy first.

I do notice in Thailand that they will ban Indians, Arabs and African Blacks from the bars telling them "members only". But that's not really racism as much as a logical business decision based on experiences with those types of customers in the past. I do think a bit of that goes on in Jakarta as well on a personal level with the girls, but not as much as in Thailand. Once those bars / girls find out a black guy is American, they accept him with open arms, so it has nothing to do with skin color. It's all about culture and how different people are perceived who come from different cultures. And the perception of the types who get banned from the bars in Thailand is that they are normally cheap and / or rude. (at least that's what I've been told by the Thai girls) I'm not agreeing with it or saying it's right, but it happens. I actually think being arabic in Jakarta is an advantage with most of the girls.

I've never seen anyone get banned from any bar in Jakarta though other than the "Japanese Only" bars. But I have no problem with that. I don't want to go to those bars anyway.

But they called one of the girls in the group "Ibu Non-Blok", because she was popular with Africans, Arabs, Pakistanis, and other guys from the "non-block" nations. Quite fat, big tits, big arse. I suppose she did the smart thing and deployed her assets, such as they were, where they had the most value. A few others were known to have a knack with the Japanese. And then there are a whole bunch of girls who won't go near the Bules, but like to serve the local Chinese market. So, I don't really buy this idea that it's all focussed on serving Bules and everyone else gets sloppy seconds. Different girls work different market segments, just find the ones that are a match for you.

Oh, and a lot of the girls are sophisticated enough to draw a distinction between a local Chinese and an Australian or an American from an Asian background, or something like that. Few questions.

1) Are these airlines pretty safe / how has been your experience on them if you did travel them?

2) Any tips to note while I travel on these, based on your experience?

3) What about Tiger Airways - they seem better than these, but is slightly expensive.
