Medellin Reports

Given the current safety issues and the fact that my Spanish is limited, I've come up with a general plan for my first trip to Medellin and wondering what you experienced guys think of it (whether it's an itinerary that I would be happy with). I would stay for only 4-5 nights since it would be an extension of a scuba diving trip in the Caribbean. To make the accommodations as hassle free as possible, I would opt to pay a bit of a premium to stay at the Hotel M (formerly known as the Mansion) where it is already set up for monger tourists. I could pull girls from the same location during the daytime and nighttime knowing that they are already pre-screened, ie. , low risk of drugging or robbing me plus a known price range. I understand that their staff can also arrange for airport transits and drives to other tourist sites at a reasonable cost if I should utilize them.

During the daytime, I might visit New Life and Loutron. Then at night I would just stay at the Hotel M bar except for one night I might visit La Isla just to say I've been there whether I pull from there or not. In all of these external venues, I would just use their rooms.

I might stroll through Parque Ileras again just to say I've been there but not really pull any girl from there since that becomes more risky business especially for a first timer visitor like me. I would think that with the combination of Hotel M and the above mentioned external venues, I would have more than plenty in terms of girl action for my short trip.

So what do you guys think? Would this be enough for a first trip sampler of Medellin? Or would I be really missing out on something else that I did not consider including?

Then Ubering to the clubs. Hotel M seems nice you get day time girls more safely but I don't know the quality or prices. Also if they allow outside / agency girls.

At least the Airbnb would be nicer and more in the middle of Isla Gustos Fase dos.

The extrension (prorrogar) carries over into the next year, this is true. But it is also true that you get 180 days per calendar year that reset as of Jan 1st of each year. You can stay up until the date of the extension the. You have to leave but you can come right back the next day and will be issued a new 90 days because you are now in a new year and haven't hit the 180 or even 90 day mark yet.

Double six figure salary but not very intelligent LOL??

Walked by one wearing a gold chain yesterday on the border of Belen and Laureles. SMH. Though it's really tough for me to say this as I think any loss of life due to crime is beyond wrong but some of the gringos deserve that shit.

Colombia is full of crime victims that weren't wearing gold chains. Therefore if you point to the stupidest of actions then tell yourself, "as long as I don't do that I'm fine," then you are setting yourself up for disappointment.

And the knowledge you'll gain from fellow mongers staying there is invaluable. You can always hit up a casa or club with one of them. As for the girls at the mansion, they are very safe and service has always been from really good to great. Going rate used to be 250. I've heard it's up to 300 k. I dare say you'll find some better looking girls in Lleras. But without a doubt you'll find girls MORE than adequate at the mansion.

Your plans seem exceptionally safe, with the exception of Lleras. There's definitely more risk in Lleras. The risk isn't being in the area, though I suppose anything can happen at any time. The risk is the girls are more of a wildcard. Personally, I love Lleras. It's fun. So I'm not discouraging you but you'll need to do alot more vetting of the girls than any of your other options mentioned. Also, good to know (and another poster asked) you can always bring girls back to the mansion. The girls need a cedula. Alot of Vennies in Lleras so before you invest the time, be sure they have proper ID. There's never a fee for bringing a girl back but they are tight on ID. And we should be thankful for that.

I have thick skin so it's almost impossible to offend me. But between the laughable dick measuring contests about who knows more, who's more of a badass, or mocking how others spend their own money, it's just pathetic. I am having a little bit of difficulty in finding the Hotel M or Mansion Hotel. If anyone can point me in the direction with an address or a link I would appreciate it. Also looking for any other locations besides close to Lleras that has street girls readily available that are safe to stay in. Another side note, I don't speak Spanish so keep that in mind LOL.

I a very experienced traveler including several locations that have the crime profile of what I'm reading about on the forum and online.

You'll find a lot of variety in LLeras and I'm pretty sure you'll find what you're looking for there. I'd recommend you to go there after midnight. Your sweet spot would be around 2-3 am or after the clubs closed. All the girls will be outside, you will have better options and better negotiations. You can use Google translate, but still recommend to learn basic Spanish to talk to the girls. I've met few girls in LLeras that gave me GFE experience and best sex experience from there. I still talk to them till now and always see them whenever I'm in town. Don't limit yourself to the mansion. If you decide to pick up girls from LLeras, just practice extra caution and always follow your gut instinct, if something doesn't feel right just moved on to the next one, there's plenty of them. Weekends is the best time to go there for full mongering experience. Always bring your common sense with you and try to think with the bigger head as much as possible.

It's my understanding that in those articles, those men already had connections as nomads built within the city and a target grew on their back as time passed. One was in an hotel, whose guards allowed the female to exit without the man. Something that could've been avoided by going to a hotel with securities who check ID and need the man to be present. I presume if you the woman understands she's being watched by a bribed security, she won't mess around, especially if foreigners pay for a premium hotel as insurance for their safety?

I haven't visited Colombia yet, but it seems that if you follow the rules there shouldn't be an issue. Yes, crimes occur all the time. Still, stick to crowded areas, don't show off, don't walk off a pre planned route or into an alley, don't goto the womans incall, hotel, place, no matter what.

Would it be rude for you to plainly tell the girl to keep her hands where you can see them all time and leave her bags near the door while's she with you?

For those of you who don't look like the "gringo", do you find it easier to fit in, get serviced, and not be targeted? I'm not white, and want the girls to know I have cash but at the same time not get overpriced by being from the US.
