I have done over 30 trips to the DR and over 20 trips to santo domingo, I have written about the hotel palacio several times. I have stayed over 20 times at the Hotel Palacio in 5 different rooms. I have met the older German guy who owns the hotel (George). I will Never again stay at the Hotel Palacio. Some rude workers at the Hotel Palacio in the past and at least one room at the Hotel Palacio that has terrible air conditioning. Price for the palacio is usually around $100US per night, you have posted that you got a price of $65US per night (did that include the 26% in taxes?) and paying that price you were able to enter the hotel palacio morning, noon and night with as many chicas as you wanted without paying anything extra?

There is a waterpark near the national aquarium and as an added bonus I saw three attractive streetwalkers out in the afternoon on avenida espana just before where the the waterpark is located. Botanical Garden and baseball games are other things you might want to see.

If you have a rental car, you can drive to san cristobal, playa palenque, juan dolio. Bayahibe is a nice town about 2-3 hours from santo domingo driving your own car (taking buses it would take longer).

Bonao is about an hour from santo domingo and has some streams (small rivers you can visit). Santiago with no traffic is about 2 hours from santo domingo (by bus it will take longer, during rush hour it will take longer).

Hotel palacio is very nice. It is in the heart of the colonial zona. Banks, market all on the same block. Comes with a great buffet breakfast and refrigerator in room. No problem with chicas in room. I had my girl and her sister in room no questions asked. I booked on hot wire for 65 bucks and was thrilled with everything. Location is very close calle conte which has SW all day long.

Did $65US include the 26% in taxes?

Geez fellas. Paying 1000-1500 pesos for a wham bam session and you're expecting a rocket scientist? At that level wouldn't you think that you are dealing with the poorest chicas or hardcore putas. Saying all or most Dominicans are stupid is a major stretch. A chica who is earning her degree or in grad school would prob demand more (not necessarily money but romance and gifts) and is normally out of reach to the avg mongers with limited spanish and / or with no local contacts.

The pay for venue you mentioned is on the other side of the street from playboy palace and on the block before playboy palace (It is east and south of playboy palace).
