I just got back from Medellin where I stayed at the Masnion. I would say the bar its a BIG hit. Its open from 6pm until whenever people leave. Usually Midnight to 1am. Guy and gals hang out in the pool area during the day then at 6pm they must go to the bar. And to answer my question NO, no one brings there own drinks down there. The bar is downstairs and La Cave is a perfect name. There is music and the girls come dressed like they are going to the club and there is dancing. I think it is going to do well for the guys and I hope it odes. I drink Stoli and cranberry juice and the cost was 8000 peso. No problem for me. I didn't really feel the need to go to the strip clubs at night because you can go to the bar and have a good time. It is a good look I bet Robert and Greg wish they did it a long time ago.

Diana is there from 3. 00pm for sales and now we have a mini fridge in the kitchen so sales 24/7 mate. Your right, from 6. 00pm its starts rocking.

I was hoping to stay at Plaza 1 from Nov 17-25 but they have rooms only till 22 only in Plaza 2. I blame myself for not calling earlier. After my last trip I had thought I would never comeback. Was with MP for 10 days. He was shot 7 days after I left. I kept thinking it could have easily have been me sitting next to him or they were scouting when I was walking around with him. But again the women of Medellin are like Fantasy Football (addictive).
What other choices do I have? I can rent an apt but with little Spanish and timid social skills I don't think it will work. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hotel and bar rules are "no guest, no entry" NO COLOMBIAN MALES, but when you there talk to Robert, he is the owner of the bar.
I had always thought that Colombians are extremly HOT! Even thoough the say "SIN TETAS NO HAY PARAISO" " WITH NO TITS THERE IS NO PARADISE", meaning most chicks over there have breast implants. I guess just to enhance their beauty.

Bar closes at 11. 00pm or when Robert decides.
I was quite spectical about the Bar but after having visited recently I have to say it was very nice. As to the noise, I could not hear any noise in the lobby above it. If noise is a real concern (like room 10 directly above the Bar) ask them when you contact them. I am sure that you will get an honest answer.
