Been trying the twitter thing in Jogja. I had a appointment setup with a girl who promised to chat me up in the afternoon "ontime". Ontime didn't happen for two hours. So, I contacted this other girl who had seemed more responsive earlier. Pictures were decent, she seemed to speak english, and seemed to show up. But this girl was asking for 1 million. As such, all the FLs are asking 800-900. So, I figured, okay, 20 bucks more for an english-speaking person who would show up. I ask girl about picture and she sends me another one, which was touched up. Not good.

In any case, there was more confusion about going to which hotel, sheraton or marriott (she had me send her a picture of the key card), and how sheraton is marriott. And I was like, I know, hun, world is getting complicated, what can I say. I tried to explain international acquisitions and multi-brand parent holding companies:-the.

Girl shows up 30 min late, which I figure is just traffic here. I wasn't sure if I would get a call from the hotel. I didn't. She just knocked on my door. And in she comes. Photo is hers. From 15-20 pounds ago. Doesn't speak a word of English. Very shy. Asked for money and I told her I'll give it after. Not sure she understood but she didn't protest, just made a sign to confirm her rate.

I got a little handsy with her on the couch and then we moved to the bedroom. She didn't show any initiative for the most part but went along with anything asked of her (which is fairly plain vanilla. Also, interesting, most girls online list "normal sex" or equivalent here). Mostly lackluster. Kept lips sealed tight.

We finished up, in 5 minutes, she is up and dressed. Have had much better. Have had worse. This was still in the category of meh whatever uninspiring. (Just shows, shouldn't do LT with new girls).

I give her the money and she's gone.

Was it worth being on the higher side of what twitter FLs are asking? Ehh. In that she actually showed up on short notice when asked but not really. Don't really care that much though given small amounts. My bleeding heart thinks of poor girl, etc. Too many other girls wanted advance payment online (what, through the banking system!? Are they crazy!

OS goes touring.

Now it happens that OS has a rather short attention span and after some time in a city completely devoid of sidewalks. OS decided it was time for a run in the countryside. To Bandung, actually, along some back roads.

So off he sets and by 9. 30 AM OS has made good time, such good time that he stops off at a warung somewhere South of Bogor on the side of a hill on Jl Transyogi between Jonggol and Cirata for a cup of coffee. While drinking his coffee the local village rat who is sitting there also having a coffee motions to the back of the warung and offers OS a cewek. At that time of day, Ya got to love that.

So he calls over the mama, who coincidentally is the same lady who made OS his coffee and she confirms the offer. OS is rather curious by this time and asks the price - 300 thousand. (definitely could be offered lower, say 150 000, probably actually 50 or 100,000), where the girl is -Taking a shower, (After the village rat probably splooged a bit of morning fun into her) and finally, did she have any babies. - Three (OS decided at that point she was not for him and just enjoyed the coffee).

So on the road again and OS gets to the Cirata reservoir and feels like another coffee so pulls over and guess what?. This warung has the dangdut playing and four doored rooms inside what could best be described as a rudimentary bamboo hut. Albeit with coffee available. OS asks to sit out the back which has a view of a fenced off ablution block where one rather fat girl is washing herself and enjoys his coffee while the lady sidles up for a chat and yes! ,she has girls, but no! , they're not here just now. But she is available if OS would like to partake of her charms. OS was firmly of the view that it would be best to keep the relationship platonic but could he take a photo please. To show all his fellow Indonesia adventurers what can be found out in the wilds. There are, apparently, a lot of warungs like this. It being the Sundanese style. OS started to put two and two together and realised that if the warung has rooms out the back of the hanging coffee satchets. Then it was a good chance to have ceweks.

It was a rather productive trip in terms of broadening OS's understanding of how our craft gets plied in rural Java.

More likely than not, they know someone who knows someone who can bring you someone. My Indonesian friends used to do it that way. However, YMMV.

It's a Sundanese thing to serve up whatever turns a profit at the warung. This was rural Sunda. OS had had his days fornicating on filthy old mattresses out the back of bamboo huts. These days he prefers more salubrious accommodations and certainly not with a 35 yo 3 kid village janda, but if it's your thing go touring. You could safely go in any direction from Jakarta except North and you will stumble on similar. Just use the magic words " Ada tempat cewek deket sini?

You can ease your tender conscience by marrying a local girl for the week (nika siri). It'll cost you a bit and you'll have to arrange the wedding with an obliging imam and the girl's family but then you're free to enjoy your holiday without fear of eternal perdition, although your wife for the week is liable to look like someone's pembantu.

If the afterlife isn't really a big issue for you, just bring your own girl along, I dare say the average Jakarta cewek would enjoy a weekend in the cooling breezes of the mountains of West Java. But for my money if you're in Jakarta, just stay there, you'll get all the fun you need without the expense and hellish four-hour drive up narrow mountain roads to a dowdy "villa" in Puncak.

Eventually the exasperated girl asked me what on earth I was doing and I explained I wanted to find somewhere with no people. She impatiently told me just to give her Rp 50 k and to pull over, she rolled down the window and hailed a passing coffee seller on his bike, called "Starbikes", Starbikes, geddit? She handed him the cash and told him to keep an eye out at a discreet distance and give us a shout if a copper showed up. He obligingly did so and we got on with our business in the back seat.

If privacy is your thing, Indonesia is not the place to be.
