Not only a cheap charlie but disrespectful and an a*hole (David_33 I tend to say more).
Suffice to say you seem proud of what you did. Well done, you pay $75 for a taxi in the USA and can't even give a girl $10 for all her effforts to see you
What you did will likely mean that the the girl will be more wary of foreigners / westerners/"white men" and maybe there would have been some or total "loss of face" for her in her poor community.
Even if the girl is a fuglie (and I have had a few turn up in my time as I did not do my diligence properly. C2C before hand etc) I would treat them with dignity and show respect.
You on the other hand did not, maybe thats because in the USA there is limited culture. Well what to expect when Fox News is considered a news channel not a comedy channel.
Rant over!
Funny comment about not showing respect to a filipina coming from a limey who brags about putting a dog collar on their neck 5 minutes after meeting them and making them get on all fours and bark at the moon. I'm sure that makes them feel really good about themselves.

Russians
Dear fellow monger friends,
Have been to Manila many times, always appreciated Burgos, Edsa, etc. But now looking for something different. Any ideas on whether there are clubs where Russian or Ukraine ladies are trying to earn a living? Furthermore, somebody experience with the Mariott hotel near the airport and whether they are girl-friendly? Probably they are, paying a USD 100 per night for a room. . At least it is close to Airforce One en Starfleet. .
BTW, if no Russians are to be found, what would be an Asian destination that does fulfill that 'need'? Jakarta?
Thanks guys for your answers and enjoy your time in Manila!
Vogel
Pattaya has some "Russians" but I think they are mostly Uzbeks. See here:

Be warned though like Screaming Beaver mentioned for Manila, they places with Russians tend to be rip-offs. You are probably better off just making a trip to the FSU or even Germany.

Me Bastard
I'll ask the same question. What's $2. 00 in your life? It's alot in their life. Cheap bastard.
You're missing the point, I let a local set the tip with my money. I'll let her know that you think she's a cheap bastard a well since I still talk to her on skype.
Ironically, when not in SE Asia, I frequent the bars where ESL students party. It reminds me of being abroad because of all the Thai, Chinese, Japanese, Mexican, and Korean hotties are getting drunk in my home town. Anyways, bartenders here are often pissed off and shaking the tip jar in front of the ESL student faces. They do not tip for bar service at all. And to be an ESL student in my home town means they come from monied and connected families (or being paid by their employers to learn English). Either way, on average probably big bucks.
Do they tip here- hell no. Do they tip at home. Hell no. They hate and do noy respect our tipping culture. That being said, it's not like we didn't tip. We left about $0. 60 and you would have left a $1. 00. Do me a favour and ask your next bf girl to sort out your tip for a meal where you are treating (which you paid for). I think you will be surprised how little of your money she tips. Report back to me and if she bleeds you dry, I'll mail you a buck or two to reimburse you.

Vogel
There are some Russians working privately through their pimps in Makati area. If you hang around long enough in Greenbelt, you will spot them. The only club I know in Manila that has Russian girls is the Club Jills (spelling?) in Burgo Street area. But they only strip dance and sit and drink with you if you invite them. They don't go out. It is basically a waste of money in my opinion.
Makau is another destination if you have to have Russian. You can find them in some Saunas. Some of them work on the streets at night, but this activity diminished after crackdowns from local law enforcement. You can also find them in big cities in China, Shanghai and Beijing in some particular clubs. Search threads on those 2 cities and you will know where to find them. I've heard you can find them in Singapore and Thailand too. But if you want to best experience with Russian girls, you have to go to the where they came from, or better yet, go to the clubs in Germany and Spain.

Vogel
I have been to the aforementioned Divinos and there are a few really hot Russian gals, but they garner a LOT of pesos and I don't think are inclined to share the "booty" as they don't have to put out to "make out" being they are a rarity.
I know that there are a fair number of Russian gals in Shanghai at the Bar Rouge, but they don't come cheaply and also at Chocolates or the former Hollywood Bar in Beijing. As mentioned earlier, there are a few in Macau saunas, but they also tend to be premium priced and I have heard the service is spotty.
Bangkok and Pattaya have a few locales as well, but I am not familiar with them.
The best "non-local" experience I have had in Asia, has been from the "northern sisters" at Maggies in Beijing! They are yummy! I have run into a couple of them at Harri's bar in Kowloon as well.
Hope some of this helps, I suspect your yearnings will not be satisfied in this regard and location

I am not sure what the intent of your posting would be, but I would wager a large sum of money that not ONE gal that meets WR feels degraded or "de-valued". The fact is I bet they enjoy the play as I will once again wager a large sum that any role playing they participate is done purely voluntarily and out of a desire to explore sexuality beyond the commonplace. I doubt very seriously if any of these gals meet many local guys that have any imagination beyond pounding them and leaving as quickly afterwards as possible. It is obvious you don't share the same views as to what constitutes an enjoyable sexual experience and that is okay, but to condemn something just because it doesn't fit your definition of "fun" is WAY out of line. I know from personal experience that the ladies that WR entertains find him to be a good friend and respect the way he treats them.

Rant over!
Roger,
Every culture has it's crosses to bear. This is just one of many in ours. I wouldn't judge people from the USA by virtue of the television programs they produce. Having said that, it is a sad commentary that this particular program even carries the name "News". What a travesty!

I agree there is but Fox News does take the [CodeWord140] at times with its "fair and balanced" tag line (maybe for Sarah Palin and the other loonies). The FR was more aimed a person who clearly revels in being a cheap charlie etc.
USA is a fun place in some areas and pretty boring in other just like all countries. Some even have their own version of Fox News LOL

Try Macau.
It's only an hour and a half away easy to do.

I suspect you will find a large portion of them would disagree with your myopic view.
