I will be in San Diego on business and thanks to all the wonderful posts and information on the board, I will be visiting Tijuana Tomorrow night and already booked a room in Hotel Cascadas. I will keep my mongering mostly to Hong Kong and take in a couple street girls. So I parked behind the jib for 8 hours for $5. 00usd. I give these guys credit, they don't raise the prices for weekends or holidays. At least I haven't seen it.

I go through the gates and ask the taxi driver $50. 00mx. To hk. He says no problem. Traveling east to west, when we get close, I tell the driver, you can drop me off here. This would be in front of tb, across from hk.

He asked, can I turn around and drop you off over there. Basically pointing across the street. I told him right here will be okay. That's when he tells me, but if I drop you off over there, I get a coupon. I tell him, I get it, extra money. He says yes and I tell him no problem.

So he drops me off in front of Ab. So for you newbies, in case you think the taxi guy is taking you for a ride, it might be he just wants to get his commision. But on the other hand, if you catch the taxi from the border and you don't see Ab. Or Hk. Within 5 minutes, he might be taking you for a ride.

Since it's still early, I go into Hk. To see what's happening. Pretty busy for a Sunday afternoon. I get a drink and relax. As I was sitting, a girl comes over. Not a stunner but not bad. I give her a couple of dollars to feel her up. She then says, $40. 00 for upstairs. If I didn't have my date, I would have gone. Can't remember her name.

So at least we know, there are still bargains to be had at Hk. This was done with no negotiating involved.

It is now about 18:00, I head over to the restaurant next door to Ab. I give her a call and she says, I need about half an hour more. No problem, I go into Ab. To wait it out.

About 18:20 I walk out of Ab. And there she was talking with the guy out front to see if she could come inside to find me. She had text me while I was in Ab. But never heard it.

When she saw me, there was more relief on her face than mine. I don't know how many times I have set up dates and the girl didn't show up, so I was glad when she was there.

After we greeted each other the taxi driver ask us if we needed a ride. I asked him if he knew where Mision 19 was. He asked another driver that knew so I said let's go.

Before we get to the taxi, she says something to the driver then says something to me. Something needing to send her mother some money. Then she repeated the word copel. I told her I didn't understand. Didn't know what copel meant.

I was thinking the worse, does she want me to give her money to send to her mother? Luckily, the driver knew English. He told me, before we go to the restaurant, she wants to stop at Copel to send money to her mother.

Okay, much better. So we get in. We stop in front of what looks like an department store with alot of electronic devices in front. I ask her, do I wait in the taxi or go with you. She says come with me. As we are walking in, I look up, the name of the place Copel.

This might be the place where I believe Phordan talked about for exchanging money. If it wasn't you, sorry about that. There is a bank near the back but we went upstairs so she could do the wire transfer.

The transaction went really fast and we were in and out pretty quickly. Go outside, the taxi guy is waiting. We get in and head out to Mision 19. I'am very excited. Good looking girl, anticipating a great meal, what a perfect Sunday. Or so I thought.

We get to Mision 19 and pull into the parking lot. The guy comes out and says the restaurant is not open on Sundays. To think, I memorized the menu but wasn't smart enough to think to check when they were open. So if anyone is looking forward to visiting this restaurant. It's closed on Sundays.

So, I tell the driver, take us to Villa Saverio, which is not to far away. Driver says no problem. We arrive and I give the driver a nice tip for the extra stops.

As always, the dinner was good. We shared a salad. She had the swordfish, I had the fettichine with chicken. Then we shared a dessert. She had the sangria, I had a couple of cokes. The bill came to around $650. 00 mx. About $50. 00usd in case you are interested in going there.

We then went to hotel La Mansion. It was only $25. 00 USD. I could have sworn it was $35. 00 USD earlier in the year. So if that's the case, better for us.

Had a great time there but had to get back home at a decent time. She wanted to stay but I told her next time, I will have more time. We left around 22:30. The line was about to where the catering truck sits. Fortunately, the Sentri line was still open so I was able to breeze through.

Almost forgot, while at Ab. I spoke with a very pretty girl who said her name is Barbara. Very petite but very good looking. She said she is from Mexicali. Since it seems we have guys here from Mexicali, maybe you know her and can comment if it's worthy to pursue.

With the girl I took out this past Sunday, it was very reasonable. $650. 00mx for dinner. $25. 00 USD for the hotel. About $300. 00mx in taxi. I did tip the second taxi driver a little extra for the extra stops and wait time. Finally, $1100. 00mx to the girl. Comes out to around 175. 00usd. But remember, no rush at the hotel. (no knock ). Usually multiple rounds, unfortunately because I had to get back I wasn't able to take advantage of that. Also, I did give her a box of chocolates as a special gift.

The economy sucks and getting worse with this clueless, entitled, moron as president. His propping up the economy with trillions of borrowed money is starting to wear off. The only place where the dollar is still king is Mexico, but it's almost a ghost town now. I first started mongering as a hobby in early 2000. First girl I banged was at a strip club that had a little hotel next to it. Got the girl upstairs, started in on her, and was hardly getting going when the "knock" came. I thought right then and there "fuck this." We have never been to Tijuana (We have all been to Mexicali numerous times) so if there is someone that has been to Tijuana many times and knows the place well so they could like navigate or maybe even drive in it would be nice. Be nice to have someone that speaks fluent Spanish too as none of us do (I use voice activated translators in Mexico).

There is not a lot to navigate in Tijuana. I've only been to Mexicali once and would agree that navigating there was a necessity, but it is not like that in Tijuana. Most of what happens in Tijuana is restricted to the Zona Norte, thus, one-stop shopping. I also think that knowing Spanish would help, but most people wing it when it comes to Tijuana. I struggled with Spanish in Mexicali, but seem to get my point across somewhat in Tijuana.

Just my thoughts.

I am debating which hotel would be the best to stay at. I have never been to Tijuana. I have been to other border town for mongering (Nogales, Los Algodones and Mexicali) but never TJ and from what I understand TJ is a completely different adventure. I am debating between Hotel Cascadas and Hotel Coahuila. If there is some other hotel which someone here believes is superior to both of these that I could bring girls from those 2 clubs to I would entertain that too. I do not need anything extravagant. I am looking for a cheap but safe hotel that is in the zona quite close to Adelita, Hong Kong, Chicago and Tropical as that is where I plan on spending most of my time. After all, I do not believe that when we go down there we spend much time in the hotel room. LOL. I would also like to find a hotel with a safe in it to protect my belongings like my cash, passport and smartphone if that is possible. On a different forum, I have read a lot of horror stories of the girls stealing your extra cash when the monger was not looking. I also read about an Iphone that was stolen. The story I read was about someone that was walking down the street and someone pickpocketed their $700 Iphone! I guess now the theives pickpocket Iphones and other smartphones. I have a very expensive, very nice Android Smartphone that has a voice activated electronic Spanish English translator so I must have it with me at all times so I speak absolutely no Spanish. My phone does have a GPS locator on it so I could find it if it was stolen but we all know that ging to the place where it is would not be advisable and the cops in Tijuana would be of little or no help in going after an Iphone. I can even completely wipe my phones memory remotely from a website making the phone worthless to whoever stole it but I would still be out my very expensive smartphone. In fact, if someone here has figured out a very good way to carry a smartphone on them so that it can not be stolen I would not mind hearing your advice. I guess that Tijuana is the pickpocket capitol of the world! We all know that TJ is probably the most notorious city for alterior motive activities....LOL Thanks for your help.
