Hey guys I rarely go to WC anyway but during the 7s I avoided it like the plague. Had a business / friendly dinner scheduled for WC and when I realized what day it was I switched it to Central.

I admit the language barrier is a challenge, but worth it. I am very attracted to Chinese girls and find them irresistibly sexy. They used to get a double entry 2 weeks each stay and went to China to activate the second term. Now they only get 1 week and no more China visa, means they need to make 400 USD airfare in 7 days, plus the expenses for the stay. No way.

Yea, I am getting psyched up for Jakarta. I have heard many great things about the city and I have been doing my research. There are a lot of places I want to check out and naturally, like a kid in a candy shop, I want to go everywhere. I am going to spend 6 nights here, but 'best laid plans of mice and men' if you know what I mean. From experience, I know I will probably hit maybe half the joints on my list. Somewhere, somehow, somebody, or something is going to slow me down. But that's fine. If I like Jakarta as much as I think I will, I know I will come back for more.

On Batam, you may be right. But, I felt that since I was in the neighborhood, I should check it out. I am thinking it is roughly comparable to AC. I know I will manage to have a good time there no matter what. I have been to a lot of shit holes much worse in my travels through Central and South America. If it is a place I will want to go back a 2nd or 3rd time, remains open to question.

Jakarta. Great choice from saunas / massages / parlours / independents in bars etc. Probably pay around 1m rupiah (about 900 HK) for short time. This is a starting point with independents. Prices drop depending on the time of the night. Don't expect A levels.

Batam. Very cheap. Where Singapore / Malaysian residents go for weekends. Should be half the price or less than Jakarta. Except the ladies to be more primitive but very enthusiastic.
