There are 3 possible categories that foreigners could fall into on that chart. But I agree with your point, that pointing the finger at tourists in Medellin as the culprit is ignoring the vast majority of sex crimes committed there. Most of these victims have been victims long before they met any foreigners, and while that doesn't make it right in any way it points to the deeper source of the problems.

Some like skinny spinners, some like dark skinned morenas and afrocolobianas, some like white more European looking chicas, some actually like bolt-on titties and fake bodies.

It is silly to say that a girl is a true 8.5 to 10. As a number of people have said, one guy's 10 is another guy's 5. I know guys who only like slim petite girls so when you show them beautiful girls who are curvy, they say she is a 6. I know guys who like guys with large breasts or a big ass so when you show them girls who are slim and petite with small breasts and a flat ass, they are not interested and see those girls as 6 or 7's. As for the face of a girl, it is so subjective. Some says like the girls with a lot of make-up and think they are 9's and 10's with the make-up and when they see girls without a lot of makeup, they see them as 6's or 7's even though it could be the same girl. I have had so many disagreements with guys on the beauty of a particular girl but if they ask me about a girl who they think is very attractive, I just go along and say she is very attractive even though I don't think so.

In the end, all that matters is that the girl is attractive to you and it doesn't matter what others think.

My advice is to find a reasonable Airbnb that doesn't have a no guest policy explicitly written in the description. Then when you show up try to bring girls discretely. If it fails just book a hotel room when you are with a girl, there are options in Poblado, use the search function of the forum or better yet ask the girls in the Park which hotels are best and cheap.

I find myself endlessly immersed in YouTube videos criticizing Medellin. What drives these individuals? Are they genuinely aiming to provide a public service, or could their motives be rooted in reducing tourism to drive down costs (such as Airbnb rates, nightlife expenses, etc.) for personal gain?

Living in Chicago, I could easily create a video showcasing the city's negative aspects. While it's true, I might encounter trouble in certain areas while seeking illicit substances or engaging with drug-addicted individuals for nefarious purposes.

As for the risk of tourists being kidnapped for ransom or subjected to torture for their ATM / banking passwords, leading to their eventual demise—what are the actual odds of such a scenario unfolding?

I think your advice is solid. It applies now and it applied months and years ago. The situation in Medellin in terms of the importance of not making a spectacle of yourself is unchanged. That has never been a good look.
