Changes in local laws, or the enforcement thereof, are things which can affect any visitor. Informing others of the changes is a good thing. Here's an example from the USA:

Now you can be 60 years old and be refused the right to buy or drink alcohol without your identification. Foreigners account for less than one per cent of the mongers in Medellin but having become quite visible the locals (some of whom are mongers themselves) have gotten the mayor to invoke the crackdown law per " if it is deemed a threat to public order".

My advice to mongers is to be as discreet as possible as we used to be in the old days.

Regarding the US, mongering in NYC is not too bad right now, just the quality does not match that of Asia or Latin America, my biggest beef.

Here in Medellin for the first time. Visited New Life and a prepago online in Laureles. So far something is in the way of enjoyment there is a distinct fishy smell both times.

Am I going to the wrong places?

In most other Latin America destinations I've been to, the expectation is usually to shower before the fun once you get a girl into the room. Sometimes the shower is together (more fun) while other times the girl wants to shower separately. What's the shower patterns in Medellin when you bring a girl back to your room? And what about at a casa like New Life or Energy or at the rooms within clubs like La Isla?

I can't say for sure whether the women in Medellin tend to shower or not. Until now, the ratio was half and half.

There is also a significant percentage of people who shower after sex without showering at first. I think after having sex with a customer, he takes a shower and goes straight to the park to wait for the next customer.

You can ask girls to shower before, during, and / or after your sessions. I don't do Parque Lleras so I don't have a basis to confirm or deny your experience. I have had similar issues only on very rare occasions.

But New Life may have 50 to 70 different chicas on roster, all of them have different days they may come in, and at any given time you may only see 5, 10, or maybe 15 of them. So no comment on the "line up" is going to be useful. If you went every day for a month perhaps you could comment on the line-up, but by then a good portion will have changed. I have been here for a couple of days (first time at the paisa source), and here is how things are on the ground from my lens.

Before I got here, I got so many conflicting reports I thought I was walking into a shit show. The reality is things are not as bad as they seem online, but I would say this is not a beginner-friendly city at all (unless you are staying in the Poblado area).

I still believe Camp Alegre was the best beginner place I have been to in terms of price and talent, other than FKK clubs in the EU, and I miss that place dearly. It was an amazing playground of 300 gorgeous playmates inside a safe walled campground. I hope they bring it back. St Marteen is not even close, so please don't even argue.

Now, the problem with Poblado is that it is so gringofied that you are basically overpaying for everything, and the vibe is very meh for me. Also, there are a lot of ugly gringas around—wonder what they are doing here?

Now for accommodations:

I stayed outside of Poblado because I got a way better price, and it has a more local feel. The hotel rates I was quoted in Poblado were bananas for Colombia (plus they want extra money for each girl LOL) and I plan on having a decent rotation going here. No bueno. I still have a weekend rooms booked in the Poblado Hotel for a group party I am throwing, but still, wtf?

Anyway, I don't like for anyone to have access to where I really sleep; thus, I always get two places. Now this is optional for most and a must for me. Usually, your budget dictates this, but for 500 USD, you can get a decent place for two weeks. Thus I have a play room and sleep / stash room in different buildings within walking distance. Total damage 1000. To me, that is reasonable, but once again, people in different tax brackets look at numbers differently so you do you boo.

Dinero Limits:

Daily pocket money limit I set for myself is 500 USD. This is what I allow myself to spend at most. The reality is I went hard and barely spent 350 the other day. So I think it will average out around 300 per day when I am done.

Here are my experiences so far.

Casas are an amazing deal if you just want wam bam thank you ma'am experience. Price can not be beat. Safe, reliable. Ok lineup. New life gets a thumbs up.

Plaza Boterro was a mixed bag for me. Some chicas standing there barely qualified as chicks, and there were some who were okay but not my seen. I think I will have to go more to catch a diamond in the rough but we will see, I don't have high hopes for it.

Food-wise, yes, you can afford most things, but if you are seriously into gastronomy, for serious eaters, I don't think this place is food heaven like Asia, Europe, or even Mexico. Don't get me wrong; it's good and acceptable, but you are not getting wowed here or at least I have not seen it yet. Feels like everyone is on island time here and just don't expect things on time. Even Rappi deliveries are on their own clock.

This reminds me. Rappi is a must. Get pro and get everything delivered. I ran out of money and condoms the other day. Rappi to the rescue. 6 AM McMuffin for the stuffed muffin under me? Yup, rappi to the rescue.

So far, I have had a decent experience with Ubers. Prices are reasonable (5-10 bucks), depending on where you are going and wait times, etc. The airport to my place was $100,000, so 25 bucks, basically, not ad at all.

Now for my best finds:

I made a friend with an Uber driver; bro turned out to be a decent dude. Hooked me up with a lot of things, connections, etc. Of course, I try to compensate everyone fairly, but for these kinds of things, you just have to feel it out if they are a leech or genuine (would not recommend this for Newbies to the game). 50 mil propina to the right person goes a long way.

I ran into a civil in Exito on the way to an appointment with my Uber driver, and I pulled her with my butchered Spanish. This shit was unexpected even for me. After my appointment, we texted, and she came over. All I can say is wow. Total damage was 300 mil for restaurants and gifts, supplies, etc, but for a 19 year old Gorgeous chica to me, worth it. She would not take money so I just got her one more gift. Win is a win. Don't be cheap in these kinds of times, gents. She then played tour guide during the day, which was very helpful, helped me run a couple of errands, explained the city, showed me around, etc. Of course, Before she left, we said goodbye in the proper way: the. She has some school things and will be done in a day, promised a friend for possible 3 way.
