That was my center of attention up to a year ago. I went post pandemic a while back, and Kangding Diamond Building was a makeshift crew and too many police and it seemed not prudent to chance. The tea houses in Huaxi Night Market was a forbidden zone. I took a walk through and no signs of life. This was about 4 months ago. I left the country but plan to return.

After the pandemic closures, I never returned to Keelung either.

If any of you still go to those areas, let me know it's current status. I know that most of you prefer higher quality sessions in cleaner environments. I understand your philosophy. In my youth, I loved the quality. But, now, I seem to enjoy the walk-about, and the sights and sounds and activity of the local customs, and being closer to the pulse of the nation as an added vibe before settling down with a lady.

I don't possess enough acumen for the online stuff, and massage parlors bore me a bit after mongering in them for over 40 years. I like the open air markets.

However, with the increase of import cases, the 7+7 rule for CNY and also the cluster break out in the hotels it seems that it's only a matter of time before Taiwan gets another spread. So I'm going to stay away from these places for a bit just to reduce any chance of being contact traced.

One alternative is the KTV clubs around Ling shen. The clubs have similar setup but not luxurious. The cost is fixed at about 3000 for 2 hours, all you can drink beer with hosts. I am unable to tell you the actual location. If you are there frequent enough, you will see many working girls line up to go into building. Or just talk to the people dressed in suite and ask about it.

Some locals will drive to Taiyuan or Tainan to spend time in KTV there. The cost is less than 4 K to spend several hours in the club with hostesses. Most girls are Viets. I know it is kind of useless without actual location but I hope this gives you some idea.
