I went out to eat and got more than I bargained for.
One minute your looking for some food and all of a sudden your boning some hot streetie sweetie!
I eat in the SF neighborhood alot.
Tonight I was working on line and I decided to pop down to get a bite. No intention of hooking up.
I was trying to decide what to eat and I walked into the red light area and was there were so many hot girls on the stroll and I ran into Luz who is one my hooker GFs.
She's 19 and she loves me! At least that is how she treats me.
Santa Fe Venezuela Refugee Village.
1 block south of Calle 24th on Carrera 16 is like a Venezuelan village. There are people there until really late.

December Trip. First Post.
All,
First of all, I appreciate all of the information available on this forum. I wish I had known about it years ago before I started traveling. But alas, I am just now discovering it and will post about my recent travel experiences in hopes that they may assist others.
I went to Bogota and Medellin (will post separately about Medellin) in December 2018. For the first few days I stayed in Zona Rosa doing the usual tourist stuff. Went to a few bars of which the name escapes me but learned one valuable lesson that may be useful to travelers in the future, if you'll bear with me. A friend and myself went to an Irish bar and saw a group of 3 beautiful girls that we decided to approach and talk to (thinking they were non-pros). We bought them drinks all night and danced with them at various clubs. At the end of the night we asked them to come back to our hotel with us and they asked for 300 k each. Yea right. Lesson learned. No mongering done in Zona Rosa, but subsequently went down to Sante Fe a few days later.
Sante Fe: As many have said on this forum, this may or may not be the place you want to wander alone at night. I don't speak Spanish, but I blend in at first glance so I didn't have any issues alone. When I was with my friend who is half-Colombian and speaks Spanish, things were even easier. As this was my first visit to Sante Fe I remember the details vividly and will relay as much info as I can to help others. I started my first night off in Troya. There are two entrances and both have a bouncer. The bar is pretty small but the stage in the middle of the club is pretty nice. They had some event going on where they were bringing guys on stage to get dances from the girls. I was alone at this time so I bought a few beers and watched the entertainment which was actually pretty funny. The quality of the girls here was probably a 7 on average (weekend night). After two beers or so I wandered to Paisas, Fiebre, and La Piscina. Overall these clubs were pretty great and I didn't have any issues even though I didn't speak any Spanish. Buy a beer and stand somewhere if you just want to watch the talent walk by. I didn't feel pressured by the staff at all either.
Here is where I made my biggest mistake and I am lucky it did not cost me. After not partaking in any of the action at any of the clubs by the end of the night, I decided I wanted to hang around a bit even after the clubs were closing. As all the clubs started to close I found myself standing outside Fiebre. A man approached me and invited me to an after party at some after-hours club. Intoxicated, I said something along the lines of "bro, I don't speak Spanish" and subsequently pulled out my iPhone (also a bad idea given the area) and used a translator app. The guy, who was from Venezuela, essentially offered to be my translator / body guard / tour guide for 50 k. Seemed like a steal so I went with it. He took me to a couple after hours clubs in Sante Fe, got my drinks (always opening the bottle in front of me), and bringing a series of girls around for dances whenever I pointed to one I liked. He even negotiated a "VIP" table for roughly 100 k. He did all the translating and negotiating for me which was especially useful when I decided to get a girl. She was a hard 9, fake everything (but I like that kind of thing) and wanted 60 k for 30 minutes at a club called Eiffel. This club apparently only opens after hours in Sante Fe and is on the top floor of a building across from Fiebre. It is also a one room club that has rooms in the downstairs area. After the great session, I decided it was time to go home, around 6 am. My Venezuelan guide offered to hail me a taxi but I wanted to walk back to my hotel in La Candeleria. He cautioned me against this but I was stubborn and decided to go anyways. He walked me to the front door of the club where I paid him 75 k for being a great guide, and went on my way. Luckily, I got back to my hotel safely. Total damages for the night: just under 300 k, which is over course expensive for Sante Fe.
The rest of my days in Bogota were spent doing touristy things by day and visiting Sante Fe by night. I didn't have any close calls whatsoever because I stuck to the main streets and also because I probably blend in a bit. My overall impression of Sante Fe is that if you bring a friend, watch your drinks, and don't wander off the main streets you'll be OK even as a foreigner who speaks no Spanish. Negotiating with the girls if you don't speak Spanish will be difficult, but it can be done. Just don't be stupid like I was on my first night there. As the old saying goes, play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
I will be heading back to Bogota at the end of May if anyone wants to meet up. Glad to discuss other travels and pass along tips regarding Germany, Netherlands, Poland, and France.

My Observation of Santa Fe.
This is just a Review of what I observed, learned, saw, and participated in. My impression of Santa Fe is this: its much larger than the strip in Vera Cruz. There are much more women in Santa Fe versus Vera Cruz. This is good and bad, more women to choose from, more chances of mishaps, trust me, I saw this first hand.
If you are able to bang chics at casas and on the spot, Santa Fe is most definitely the place you want to be, because the girls are there in large numbers. Many beautiful Venezuelans, everywhere, many are very young as well and many will not leave the area. I learned alot while I was in Santa Fe, because I was raised in a very similar environment. I can do very well in this type of environment because I feel at home in the hustle and bustle of chaos. Many of these girls are so uneducated and so accustomed to ripping guys off and trying to earn as much as they can as quick as they can. Many of these girls cannot even complete a date outside the area because they can't find anyone to watch their kids. Its damn near crazy to see, sad but its true.
I found Santa Fe to be a wild west type environment and anything goes, I grew up in the 80's, low socioeconomic status, so chaos, confusion, drugs, and no babysitters are common problems to me. Everyone is in the rip off business as well in Santa Fe, the hotels, the government, the local bars, the clubs, the massage places everyone. This is great as to no one can squeal on anyone, a block of nothing but crooks and opportunity. An entrepreneur's dream if he or she has the heart to stomach Santa Fe's activities.
I lost a lot of dates because girls would not leave the area and I didn't have a room in the area. So I spent an entire day in Santa Fe going from Hotel to hotel asking questions about price and being able to see some of the activities that goes on at each hotel that I visited. Most hotels vary from $30 mil to $80 mil per day, so how could you go wrong? You could waste that $17-$25 a day an not miss it. One hotel I visited was only $50 mil a day with a kitchenette and it was one of the much better hotels located at ground zero.
I will visit Bogota a few more times before I make a final decision on Bogota, the girls are most definitely beautiful, the girls are plentiful and the silicone is in great amounts in Santa Fe. I had to get rough with a few people in Bogota about walking up to me trying to force me to give them money for free. I also tested 2 or 3 girls in Santa Fe to see how trustworthy these girls are, everyone failed. I sent each of them across the street to buy me a small coca cola, which was 1.5 mil pesos and each told me it was 3 mil pesos and each would not bring me my coca cola directly back to me, and I was watching. They would step to the side of the store where they bought the soda for nearly 10 minutes and then bring my soda, I told them to drink it and they looked baffled, I went across the street and bought my own coca cola and told the girls there would be no cita. This behavior was extremely troubling to me. I can't tell you if they were going to drug me on the street or what, I just know they would not bring my soda directly back to me. So mongers beware.
My last night in Bogota we took one girl from Bogota and a nice brown Venezuelan. The prices were good and me and my wing man exchanged girls throughout the night. I need a few more trips to cast any final assessment of Bogota. Its a fast paced city full of opportunistic people ready to pounce if you slip, great place to monger, just keep your head screwed on tightly, Pollo Negro is out!
