They call them mulitas. If you get one of Their phone numbers, you can coordinate so the mulita is waiting for you at the airport and then they meet you at the airport for your departure.

[/QUOTE]All the nightlife is in one place, so it should be easy to choose a hotel in that area. Look up Caribbean Disco Club. It is on Calle 1. And do not expect too much, because there are only 2 bars / clubs for nightlife (3 tops). Really no reason to stay in that area if you have transportation. But that is the most popular, hence most expensive area. Where I always stay I pay about $60/ night. Renting a scooter there is really no need to stay there. You can also rent big golf carts, but they are less versatile, less agile, less fun, slower and more expensive than a scooter. I am sure you will get tired of going over all the speed bumps on one of those carts. It only takes 45 minutes to drive around the whole island on a scooter. I am not giving my place up, but I recommend staying on the east side near Aqua Beach Club (great place to chill during the day) versus the busy, popular north side where the nightlife is if you have transportation. San Andres is cheaper and a better beach destination than Cartagena.
