Your Money. Spend It However You Want
You eating steak and lobster will not effect the prices of those that eat McDonalds.
And I never bash those that spend less but it's always those that travel on their last penny or are penny pinchers hating on the ones that spend.
You had fun and that's all that matters.
You earned that money. Don't let strangers tell you how to spend your money. At the end of your trip, ask yourself whether you had fun and it was within your budget. If the answer is yes to both, that is all that matters.
Risk Management with Poblado Ban
As I understand it (and from a previous post I saw on here), the ban in Poblado and Provenza opens up the ability for police to show up to your door anytime they have a reasonable suspicion of mongering activity. This could stem from neighbors calling in, police monitoring, or even kick back rackets (not uncommon there). Maybe this is paranoia, but have any of you opted to just stay in Laurels to avoid the crackdown climate in Poblado / Provenza? Or, is there nothing to worry about if you're not in lleras making a scene?
Info in exchange for a heat check.
I'm currently in Medellin. I primarily use Facebook and MILERÓTICOS. I want to try picking up street girls in centro. Mostly because I have a super specific request that I believe comes off better in person. I want to pay a girl to twerk and grind on me but hopefully cheaper than sex. But in centro the prices are lower so I could rationalize paying sex price there for the service I want.
I just want some info on how to go about mongering I'm el centro. Times and places would be greatly appreciated. I want to go during the day to minimize danger. Thanks in advance. I will come back and share the lay of the land for all interested parties.
Hopefully someone can help
I am planning a weekend getaway to San Andres with a favorita from Medellin. Can anyone recommend a nice hotel with beach view, walking distance to nightlife, $200 a night or under hopefully? Side note, does the island have ATV's or some type of thing like that for rent that you can take around the island? I posted this in the San Andres thread as well but taking a shot that some of you veterans can help.
Feel free to private message me, I can help with those looking to start off the facebook game, contacts, airbnbs, restaurants, drivers, etc.
