The first girl is free but you have to register her with you when you check into the hotel or you will pay the $99 for her as well for each day. They collect the fee at the time you bring the girl in and you register her at reception. Staying there is not worth it unless you have a girlfriend situation ans she checks in with you. Like you said, they have pushed up their rates the last few years. You used to be able to get a standard room for $80-90 a night and I have seen rates jump to $$112 to as high as $170 a night depending on which nights you book.

The market price is based on what guys are willing to pay, and if guys are willing to pay more now, then perhaps the market price has shifted. Supply and demand. Medellin has gotten more popular in the past few years and there are just more guys visiting.

I don't worry about what other guys are paying. It is their money and they can do what they want with their money.

I go to Medellin to have some fun. I have a price range in mind that I am comfortable with. I find young attractive girls who are willing to accept that price and everyone is happy. I don't really know what others are paying other than what a few guys tell me personally or these anonymous posts on this thread which may or may not be true. On every trip so far, finding these girls has not been a problem.

So this is my take.

Go to Medellin. Spend what you can afford. Have fun. Don't worry about what other guys are doing.

You captured the airbnb game in Poblado / Provenza / Laureles well. There is quite a bit more price and quality variety in the rest of the city. The problem is the time it takes to learn to navigate the city and travel back to Parque Lleras across traffic jams. It's not a good use of time for guys coming here for a few days at a time.

If you are looking for a point-and-shoot one night stand with a chica who is churning through guys like cigarettes, then I agree it's not a good approach. But if you are looking for that diamond-in-the-rough amateur or semi-pro who might become a long term connection, I think it's a decent approach even if it will fail more times that not. The best things in life rarely come easy, and you don't attract the high quality girls by acting like every other guy they've dealt with in the past.

It seems that freelance mongering these days is only good for an on the clock orgasm (which you can get at casas and fuck houses way cheaper), none of that chilling and hanging out stuff that is was before. Your approach has the same rate of success as of finding a long-term girlfriend among the girls working Lleras or Botero plaza.

It's a "high-end" hooker pick-up bar without private rooms that caters to foreigners and the rich. Gusto is not a bar for girls who are just playing around or just hang out, it's for ladies who are looking to do P4 P with foreigner customers who often don't even speak Spanish. You pay a premium for more attractive women who are more likely to give good PSE experiences and passable GFE experiences than Centro girls where there is no expectation of that. I've had better experiences with GFE from those girls than Centro girls and I find that the girls are more likely to not clock-watch after you agree to terms and get them back to the apartment and then show off your personality. But these girls are not going anywhere for free to start with, until you build rapport. I've found that the girls are perfectly willing to stay longer (sometimes it's hard to get them to leave), but they do know their value and aren't going to give you free days since it's their job. When the night comes around, they will usually leave to go back to the bars to make their money.

If you're really looking for a semi-pro, maybe try the streetwalkers around Lleras since they "might" not be super experienced in the game, though good luck with that. Better yet, look into some trendy bars in Provenza and Laureles where you can generally game up the chicks. The girls are not generally there to get picked up but Colombian women are not explicitly against a little P4 P and some are open for a little action if the they vibe with you and the price is right. It's the best advice I can give if you really want to do a multiple-hour vetting session before pulling the trigger on a sale.
