Hi Gents; i´m at mid of march 4 weeks in Mtwapa; apartment.
It would be nice to meet a member f.e at Kendash/Eagelnest/Bahnhof;
the nightclubs are not my business.
Also any information about a beach/bar for daytime relaxing/swimming in
Mtwapa; the Bamburi Beach is a bit disturbing.
Cheers+thx

Cheers+thanks[/QUOTE]There is a beer bar/ choma joint off the rough road leading past Aquamarine, at the far end, pretty much at the mouth of Mtwapa Creek, but I don't believe it has much of a beach. Been there a few years ago on a 4-wheeling trip, and it's about as rough and dirty as everything else in Mtwapa, BUT cold Tusker was only 80 and the more of those we had the better the place looked to us.
The closest by real Beach Bars I know are on Bamburi Beach (Yamas / Yul's / Big Tree).
Maybe there is one in Kikambala as well?

It is the actual name of it. 'Excellent G. H.'
Keep in mind that it has no a/c, and the price it without breakfast.

Not sure for 1300; but one "backpacker destination" is the Glory Guest House;
it´s in that area; subscribed below
Cheers

I feel like a moron cuz I could not find Yamas nor Big Tree. I probably walked right past them.
I was staying at the Indiana and walked back and forth between there and Pirates beach...so where are those bars?
Also a recommendation on an apartment or another place to stay where they may be a little bit less nazi re IDs would be nice. Anyone?
I do not mind it but some of this chicks never take the time to get one or forget them...one time I spend 30 minutes convincing the desk at Indiana to let my chick in (who had been there the night before!)...as she had left her ID at home and it was way too late for me to want to go back to get it somewhere in the Mtwapa boonies

Tide permitting, continue past Yamas and you will reach a secluded bay with lots of caves which serve as makeshift massage parlors for a few beachwalkers.
Turn right and you'll get to Big Tree eventually, just before Pirates.
Don't expect any mercy as far as ID for overnight guests is concerned . I have difficulties even when I rent a room for an afternoon fling for few hours, unless I accept a 3rd tier motel or guest houses ; However, you should have no such issues at all at an appartment building.

The government deported many europeans (italians); most of the hotels are
closed. I hope you ll find a good girl; otherwise it will be a bit lonesome.
The "Pattayatime" is finished there.
Furthermore whole Africa lost tourists; i´m happy everytime to find in Mombasa
a few buddies
But enjoy
