Let me know how you fared.
Also interested to know your success rate with getting DFK, BBBJ.
Thanks.[/QUOTE]Tammak also reported on Valkyirias (sorry on the spelling) at Azara 905.
There is a new casa that I can recommend: Parada 838. It is located at Iturbe 838 casi Fulgencio Moreno. Phone is 449 955. When I was there today at noon, there were 9 chicas, all of whom I found reasonably attractive. However, I was there at 10 AM last week, and there were only two. The price for all the girls except two is 80. 000 for 30 minutes and 130. 000 for an hour. They have an introductory special of $130. 000 for 30 minutes with two chicas. For the other two chicas, the hourly price is 200. 000 (I passed). Servicio completo is negotiated privately with the chica. I have been with four chicas, and they all had good attitudes, with no signs of the burn-out that can spoil an experience, from my point of view. Britisher inquires about DFK and BBBJ. I'm sorry that I have no info on DFK. As for BBBJ, two of the four chicas volunteered it without my asking. One nice thing about the casa is that each chica in the line-up approaches you individually, so you have a quick moment to ask a question about services. Personally I find it difficult to ask that kind of question if there is a whole line-up of chicas facing you, all at once. In addition to price and chica quality, the place is newly re-modeled, with clean floors, walls, and bathrooms. I like a place that has a private bath associated with the room, particularly for completo. The two rooms I have used had baths outside the room in hallways, but no one else was around. An hour here really is an hour. No one bangs on the door at the 45-minute mark.
In addition to the casas mentioned above by Britisher and Tammak, I can add Lilith at 313 Cerro Cora. This is a day-only casa, my preference and the preference of Asuncion businessmen. Usually there are only 4 or 5 chicas working there at 11 AM (my favorite time) , and often some of them are occupadas. I have been with four of the chicas there, and three had great attitudes (one was awful, and I should have seen that in her eyes before I jumped at her cute cola). This might be the cleanest casa in the Centro, and so far I have gotten the same room with private bath on all six visits.
Other clean casas include Valkyrias at Azara 905 (mentioned by Tammak) and PYEscorts at Cerro Cora 462 (mentioned by Britisher). The rooms are older, but the floors, walls, and bathing areas are clean. The chicas at Valkyrias tend not to be quite as pretty as those at Parada 838, Lilith, and PYEscorts, but most (not all) have had great attitudes. And there is always the chance of getting the university girl who tries this out for a week and decides it is not for her. I like the room with the private bath. PYEscorts seems to be the classiest place in the Centro (but I have never been to Gozanos because they lack enthusiasm on the telephone). PYEscorts encourages the chica to display themselves in attractive street clothes: dresses or jeans. Frankly, I like that more than the cheap lingerie you see at low-end places; the girls look like the gorgeous girls you see working in the banks and shopping in the malls. To each his own. PYEscorts sometimes has only three chicas available at 11 AM and sometimes up to nine. Several are occupadas at any given time (the place is large and very popular with Paraguayans who have some money). The price is 150. 000, and I don't know if they even have a 30-minute rate. Servicio completo is negotiated with the chica in the room, usually an additional 100. 000.
I have also had some good experiences at New Elite at 217 Cerro Cora (cited by Britisher above). Here I am not sure if they change the sheets regularly, but there is at least one room with a private bath.
You might think I am a little obsessive on the cleanliness issue. Maybe I am. On the other hand, I think that a clean casa attracts the classy kind of chica that i want to spend time with. Imagine working in a place all day that smells, with foul floors, cobwebs, used sheets, and smudge marks around door handles -- who would do it?
I have been to some other places in the Centro on this trip, but I will stop with the above recommendations. If this report is helpful in any way, please post or PM. As we all know, this site is moribund, but I have found it very useful on past trips. I don't have a need to discuss my exploits, but I do believe that the sharing of information can be very helpful, sometimes. Each of us is looking for something a little different. A friend took my advice and went to PYEscorts and had a horrible experience. On the other hand, he found a great deal of pleasure at a place that is not my personal favorite. To each his own!
Availability of Viagara in Asuncion
I'll be heading down to Asuncion in less than two weeks, and am wondering if viagara is readily available without a prescription. If so, where does one buy it and what is the cost per pill (100mg)? I'll have more questions, but I'll start with this one.
Questions about the Casas & Chicas
Thanks to responders for the information about Viagara. It sounds as though the local version may do the trick. A Fuegon, did you get any additional information?
I am fairly well traveled throughout Latin America, but this will be my first time to Asuncion. I have to say that the girls on the noted web sites are by and large quite attractive, and I don't impress that easily. I have to ask if the pictures are a fair representation of what one encounters face to face. I certainly hope so. Also, based on prior comments, it seems as though an hour at the majority of the casas should run in the 125, 000 to 150, 000 Guarani range, barring any unusual requests. Is that accurate?
Riverm, what are the names of the bars at which you were propositioned? Did you get into a discussion of prices? What bars would you recommend as fun places to hang out and check out the Paraguayanas, with perhaps the possibility of hooking up with one of them? Thanks for the recommendations and detailed descriptions of some of the casas.
Is there any resource for obtaining addresses of the casas listed on the web sites, or do you just have to get on the phone and ask? My Spanish is decent in person, but comprehension over the phone is more difficult.
Thanks to all again for your help.
I'll try to answer the questions
Sorry to have been slow in responding.
Back in early March, I supplemented Britisher's earlier report with some addresses and recommendations. I have been to a couple additional departamentos since then, but I can't really recommend them strongly. I hope the list is helpful, but you need to remember that I am a daytime kind of monger. So I don't know what takes place in the 24-hour casas at 2 in the morning.
The photos on the websites depict real chicas who are currently working, but I think they are air-brushed just a little to take out a trace of belly fat here or a butt pimple there. Having said that, I find that some of the chicas are gorgeous. Indeed, there are some who look better in person than in their photos.
The typical going rate in the clean places is 150. 000 per hour for conventional sex (an exception is Parada 838 where they ask 130. 000). The going rate in the less-clean places is 120. 000.
A somewhat disturbing trend is that there seem to be more and more really gorgeous women who work for Universitarias or who are Independientes, and who charge outrageous rates such as 600.000 to 900.000.
The three bars where I got propositioned are: Arena Cafe on Brasilia (not Brazil) off Espana; Bohemia on Senador Long off Espana in Villa Mora; and Choperia del Puerto on Colon near Palma in the old part of town. I don't have price information because I was not interested at the time. Choperia del Puerto was a big surprise becausee I have been there many times where families and friends listen to the live music without a hint of the skin trade, so I would not expect anything. It was a fluke, I think. I have been to Bohemia a few times, and there have been just a handful of working girls whether it is a live-music-dancing night with a big crowd or whether it is a quiet night. Oddly, the dancing nights have been on weekdays, and the quiet nights have been on weekends. Go figure. Bohemia staff must realize that these are working girls mixed in with middle-class people, but Bohemia does not seem to be taking a cut. Bohemia is in the chic part of town where there are lots and lots of bars with beautiful creatures, but they do not appear to be working. The Arena Cafe is different. Here the management is definitely selling chica drinks at inflated prices, so management is very much involved in the action. I have been there only once, on a quiet Thursday where a few women just seemed to be sitting around waiting for Mr. Right. I have heard that the place is very different on weekend nights when there is dancing. The last word: the working girls at Bohemia and Arena were a bit older than the 21-year-old chicas I am used to seeing in the casas. Some speak some English, which is quite rare in the casas. My hunch is that they are more expensive than the girls in the casas, but it is only a hunch.
I was surprised to learn about the Arena Cafe. If anyone knows of any other clubs where working girls hang out, I would like to hear about them.
