My advice is to go west to smaller town where the cost of an "er tai" is much more economically affordable. Maybe with the lower cost you could have more than one. You will find some action in HuaDu which is the closest reasonably sized town near the airport. There are several decent 4 star hotels there. QingYuan is further away but there is more action there. Home to the former "1,000 girls street" which no longer exists, there are still some BBS open in the area after dark and SWs near the hotels. There is a new Novatel that I stayed at last year.

Expect to pay between 50-100 RMB for 2-3 hours. Nearly every 3-4 star hotel in Guangzhou has a ST rate.

I'm not completelly newbie in Guangzhou thread, I was there few times in great company of some fellows. But my experiences was only girls from TANG (usually very good) and one from mamasan near the hotel (absolutelly disaster) and one BBS, which also was bad experience.
