Setup a skype account, add some credit to your account balance for making calls.

Pay extra to setup an optional feature an online number, basically its just a number that can forward your calls to a mexican cell phone.

Once you get to mexico, just buy a cheap prepaid mexican (ie Telcel) cellphone where the skype online number forwards to.

To call back you can setup a different free feature called "skype to go number". You basically input the numbers you want to call and it will setup a local mexican forwarding number. So you don't pay long distance with your telcel, rather you pay long distance with your skype account balance at discounted calling rates.

Tried many different things, but I think this is the easiest setup. I live in Tijuana with my bargirl right now and work in San Diego, if you in Tijuana, PM your contact info, and you can do a test run with the Skype, before actually trying it on the wifey.

Oh I didn't realize that PM was a paid subscriber feature. You could also just enable international roaming on your current provider. Although kind of pricey, but no risk of accidently phoning wifey with an mexico area code.

I will leave you with this advice. I live a double Tijuana life as well, if your relationship with your "normal" wife is not working. Just imagine having to quadruple the time and efforts to make a relationship work with a "working" girl.

(LIKE ME). I have been living this life for the last couple years. A couple of weeks ago on my flight to Medellin, the guy next to me physically could not fir in one seat. He chose to use part of mine, which forced me to lean towards the isle and armrest. Long story short, from a skiing accident about 35 years ago while living in South Lake Tahoe, I pinched a nerve in my back. Well six hours of time with this guy using my seat, and I can hardly walk.

I have been doing acupuncture and it is about 90% healed. Today I will go to my local KAMP and give it a test. This is another reason I haven't been back. Paying the fine is not an admission of guilt and you can appeal both the fine itself and the amount.

You may have to search a bit at Las Chavelas to find one that lights your fire. But for me the average performance from there has been far better than from any of the other places.

My experience is that the area code is usually one from Guadalajara. BE CAREFUL!
