Sorry, I should have explained. It seemed that she had just signed up, so I thought she was "fresh". We had a nice exchanged of messages. In one she said she had never met a foreigner here. I assumed "here' meant dia. But when I asked for contact info, she said I had to "prove" myself because there are many liars "here".

Well, how would she know if a guy / guys lie if she'd never met anyone and it was her first day on dia? Then she tells me "they" offerred her money, but when she went to Western Union, it wasn't there. I didn't bother asking how she had met these guys. I can only guess she had a different profile but got banned.

I don't want anything to do with her. But, if she is being truthful, are there guys out there who are offerring money just to see how the gals react? That's pretty lame too.

TW might be right with his comment too, but I know that there are guys who actually arrange to meet girls in a mall in Manila from their laptops at home in USA / UK / Oz / wherever and don't turn up. I described such an example in an earlier post about a girl going to MOA to meet a chatmate and he didn't show. She sent him a message when she got home asking what happened and he gloated about how he made her do his bidding. He was at home in Ohio, USA.
She was naive. He didn't even have a local CP number, and she trusted him way too much. She will be much more careful in future.

My wife whenever she spots a Filipina (there are some here NYC suburbs but as many by far as say CA) tries to talk to her if she looks friendly and she has a few stories, some sad, some bizarre like the guy who was keeping his wife well tethered (although not as bad as what you describe since she was in the mall alone by herself).

I previously chatted a person on FC that I thought was a filipina woman. She looked hot almost too hot so I was thinking could be another scammer profile but decided to check her out. We exchanged a number of messages and there was never any hint of a scam or anything that would lead me to believe she was a fake although I was still skeptical bacause of her photos. I logged in to FC another day and saw that her profile no longer said she lived in Davao but now she lived in Canlaon, Negros Oriental. Hmm now I figured scammer.

I sent her a message and asked for her email address saying I wanted to send her some of my photos. She replied with her email which I plugged in to Facebook. That sexy filipina is really an Indian Man. WTF? (BTW thats a good way to check a girls facebook profile without asking them for their fb page directly).

I'm not sure what this Indian guy is up to but I quickly blocked him. If anyone wants to fuck with him here's the details.

I've done the same email trick and than look them up on Facebook. Sometimes the email works and sometimes it doesn't on Facebook.
