My Amazon Chase Rewards card has a 45 day limit and my Citi Costco Visa has a 60 day limit. The Citi Costco Visa has very simply coverage terms and covers international rentals for rental periods of 31 days or less. Unlike the Amazon Chase Rewards card, it doesn't have as many coverage exceptions as the Amazon Chase card (for example, exclusion of "luxury" vehicles, etc) and seems pretty straightforward.

Thanks for sharing your experience. That's definitely something to watch out for. I will definitely look at the time limit for reporting a claim from now on when deciding which card to use for my rental purchases.

Saves you from a lot of bullshit in case of damages.

I gambled going without an insurance last time. But noticed there were scratches 4 places on the car not being noted before. So had those scratches filled out and pictures taken before I headed off. However my big fear was that small stone rubble would hit the car on the road while driving. Which it actually did once driving on the A3 with all that roadwork. It did make a small scratch, but the carcompany (Europcar) didn't find it. So I was lucky. Don't think I will chance it again going without an insurance.

I bought the 0 Euro damage waiver coverage the first couple of times I rented in Germany but then realized I was just throwing money away. I rent in Germany all the time (like very often) from Sixt and Enterprise and have never experienced a problem of them attempting to charge me for any damage. Maybe I've just been lucky. In any case, I find the credit card coverage a much cheaper option. Just my experience.

A general point is that apparently US and Canadian credit cards usually cover CDW. UK, Irish and Italian credit cards exclude it as far as I know. However, for UK residents, an annual insurance policy to cover CDW costs around £30.

There's others like Oceans and LR, and the smaller venues I've not tried. High Ro populated clubs, expect to be down. Sharks has the incentive for girls to stick around so I tried it was the better option close to that time. It's best to told off until later in Jan when girls start to trickle in.

The CC limit is likely not covering the entire BMW 3 series or Mercedes C class total loss. I've turned down SixT free upgrades to a M5 for this reason.

Optimist makes a good point to check your personal insurance policy to add an endorsement for rental vehicles. It's dirt cheap to add to an existing policy.

I never looked into whether it's possible to add rental coverage in Eu on my policy in the US and don't know if it is feasible.

However, as I said in some other place, either my luck or something else must be bad, because I have been hit with frivolous nicks and scratches when I returned the car, almost 50 to 70% of the time. It is always some bogus small thing. I just purchase a cow paying 11 or so euro per day, which is annoying but ok. If that was on my personal auto policy, and the rental guys hit me with those bogus claims at the same rate, my premium in the US would go up as the claims accumulate.

I was referring to stand alone insurance policies for car hire CDW excess, so this would not affect the normal car insurance. In the UK this costs maybe £30, and in my experience pay out with no quibbles.

As I understand it, US citizens might find credit card cover adequate in most cases, with the caveats BB mentions.

If you have Amex you can sign up for their premium insurance. You pay about $15-20, [B]per rental[/B], depending on where you live in the state. It covers up to $100 K or you can buy more.

First, I want to thank you all for all the advices. I just spent a weekend with someone outside the club for the very first time. Overall, the experience was good. I can narrow down to the following topics:

[B]Sex[/B] - it was good and passionate. I guess you can expect that when they want to have real sex and want to reach orgasm. Now the disadvantage is that when they have sex for real / fun, they stop doing what they don't really like (for example, like BJ, 69, and a few other positions, etc.). So, you will be missing out on some of the acts that they normally do if they were inside the club. This is not the first time this happened to me.

It never fail that they will always want to smoke right after sex even though they just had one right before! She also made a similar comment like. What is it with the guys.
