Usually there is no bawab inside compound. So none will ask or will even notice.

I don't recommend a day or week rentals. Only month or months.

For Hotel, I recommend Radisson Heliopolis, Farmont Heliopolis or Semiramis Intercontinental.

Keep away from pyramids Area Hotels.
