It might have been mentioned before, but does the wifi at Cascadas work in every room, or is it just in the lobby / business center? I don't speak much spanish and it would be nice to have my laptop open to a translator. I'd use my phone, but it's a work phone and I won't even bring it into Tijuana for fear of having to present that police report to my boss. I have an old ipod touch I can put a translator on, but it too requires wifi.

Still undecided on whether to stay in Tijuana or cross back every time I go out there. Initially I was planning on staying in Tijuana for a few days. Now I plan on going to Tijuana then crossing back to stay at the SY travel lodge. However, if I am having a blast I don't want to have to wait in line to get back. How easy is it to get a room on the spot at Ticuan or Cascadas? I know I'll pay more that if I were to book it now but I just want to make sure I can at least get a room at a decent place. I can imagine its not a good feeling to be roaming around in Tijuana with no place to stay!

Also, this is kind of related to escorts and might go there, but it is also a general question. I have been looking into using an escort service once as well. Checked out some of the sites and they have some nice looking girls. And while its more expensive I got to say 400 for all night is a hell of a deal when you think of what that would cost you in the states.

My questions is, have any of you tried these and recommend an agency? And second, how easy is it to negotiate this type of service with a bar girl? I mean lets say I like a girl in HK or AB, would they take an offer of say 200 bucks for a few hours at Ticuan while they are off work? Just curious as to the best option. Hotel San Nicolas is a pretty nice place. It's on the main drag as you enter the city, right next to bar Nelson with the big gorilla head over the front door.

This hotel has a small lobby. The rooms are nice and clean with a balcony overlooking the parking lot. You can hang out in the balcony drinking, cooking BBQ ect.

This hotel has the best location of all hotels in Ensenada, right next to the main tourist drag with lots of shops and restaurants etc. It's across the street from the fish market and the malecon if you want to hang out watching the sunset, eat the famous fish tacos or buying seafood to cook on your balcony.

It's night next to bar Nelson if you need a few extra pussies for the night. The possibilities are endless.

The problem I found looking for a similar place in Ensenada is that you want a place near the water but also in walking distance to local excitement. The local excitement is in the city, which isn't close to much in the way of beaches or water fun (unless you like fishing boats and cruise ships).

If a beach is more important than walking to local nightspots, I'd suggest Estero Beach Hotel & Resort, on the south side of the city. Private beach and lots of amenities. Taxi to the city center if you need to.

You just need to ask: "trabajas por fuera?" which means: " do you work on your own?" let's say that 60% or more work on this modality.
