Tell the host, only yourself at check-in time.
There is difference between guests (including yourself) and visitors. Guest normally means who stays overnight.
The host often asks all guests, but not visitors, be pre-registered.
You can ask the host if you can invite local friends to the apartment. If the host replies that the visitors also have to be pre-registered, you can skip it.
Visiting Medellin again in December after a few years of absence. As in the past, I searched for a decent AirBnb in Laureles. In some places, visitors are not allowed. Obviously, I skip these. However, several other hosts now ask me to pre-register visitors as this is supposedly required by the government. "The following questions are asked in order to comply with the regulatory mandate of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism of Colombia. " I have to specify names, date of birth and DNI# of all visitors. Of course, I cannot do that as I've not yet met my "visitors". Did anyone of you guys already come across this requirement? Any advice on how to deal with this would be very welcome.
Medellin for a bachelor party?
Hey guys. My friends bachelor party is coming up and they rented a huge house in Medellin for the weekend.
Any advice or contact info for some nightly entertainment at the vila? Or do we all have to go out every night?
Thanks in advance.
