If he has some other sources I am interested and you can PM me. For the streamings I am relatively on top of that myself but do prefer normal old fashion TV broadcastings.

From another source I got it that Howzat in Makati (sportsbar / pub) broadcasts NHL games. That is more than good enough for me.

He did crack down on perceived police and military corruption early in his administration, and many of the reformer types (like those in the NGO crowd pushing for land reform and poverty alleviation) were hopeful about his administration in the beginning, but things obviously didn't end on the moral high ground.

On a personal basis it is widely perceived that he likes to live a comfortable lifestyle. He's a bit of an enigma, and we may have to wait and see what he does.

Having been married for a few decades I was 'lucky' if I was doing better than the 'try weekly' phase. But now, like many divorcees, I have discovered the Philippines and as Goodenough once said for newbies this can become like a boy in a candy shop. The Philippines is certainly a candy shop.

And now I am doing better than the 'tri weekly' level. Perhaps it has something to do with the fact I have resisted the temptation to become hitched to a wife or a girl friend.

Now maybe here on ISG it is a bit like coming out of the cupboard but I do admit to being in the septuagenarian class. Some of my colleagues won't admit it or to disguise the fact that they (like me!) put their age down by 10-15 years on the dating sites. And life in the mongering sense is pretty good. For two years I have had a lovely 24 year old as a regular 'Miss Monday' partner. She knows I am not marriage material and that I have other dates. And I do. On Sunday I built upon a 'hi, how are you' from an attractive 21 year old DIA girl and she stayed that night. Another big part of the problem was my strict religious upbringing, which was full of ominous warnings about the dangers of "sexual sin."

You aptly sum up the sexual downside of marriage, but the real problem is economic. When you're married you're not only stuck with an aging woman with little sex appeal, but you're also on the hook for every real and imagined crisis. Filipinos are masters at creating and wallowing in crises. In the end you wind up paying thousands of dollars for a woman that you wouldn't pay 500 pesos for on the street.
