But while it is available as is Cadburys (and sadly that excuse for chocolate called Hersheys) it is the taste that is important so Swiss or Belgian chocs (small) are really favoured by some girls. Cheap perfumes that smell OK also. You can stock up on arrival.

As for bikinis I agree Breadman =- cheap is nice. I like to get 'mankinis' (see link below) very cheap on Amazon and my favourite brand is Wicked Weasel (again can find on Amazon) but worth the price / effort for a really good cutie.

I ordered a pizza at the Filling station, wasn't too impressed with it though. Decent enough but they skimp on the toppings so its basically just the dough your getting. Across the street and down a bit is Cheers bar, ordered their bacon cheeseburger and I have to say I was shocked at just how good it was. Just enough char on the burger patty, bacon had just the right amount of crunch to it and the burger was nice and juicy. Almost one of the best bacon cheeseburgers I've ever had, only letdown was the quality of the bun. I'd also mention that across the street just past the minimart is a place on the second floor with pool tables that has a fantastic pizza and pasta special under 1200 peso's that easily feeds 4 people. The pasta and the sauces were fantastic and the pizza easily beat the Filling stations pathetic version of a pizza.

I really never had to venture far from the hotel to find something decent to eat, even the 7-11's fried chicken is pretty damb good. I really haven't seen many streetcarts here and from the few that I have seen I probably wouldn't buy anything from them unlike in Thailand where that's mostly what I grab when I'm in Pattaya.

If you like street food, you might also want to try the Shawarma stand on Burgos street. It's on the right side of the road if you're walking from Makati Ave towards Kalayaan Ave somewhere in between the Ministop and 7-11 if I remember correctly (but on the opposite side). A pretty small setup but it's quite hygienic and the food is excellent. Fresh veggies and nicely grilled meat with some sauces. If you're fan of spice, ask them to add more of the spicy sauce. It's quite deelish There's a small open bar right next to it so you can grab a cold beer to go with your shawarma if you like.

I always struggle to find decent food in this area. And I am not picky! Filling Station has some OK dishes, but I agree the pizza is not good. I go there for the great 50's vibe!

To Business Flier, if you are not willing or able to check out, for example, the top 3 Burgos Go Go Bars or a couple of the EDSA Entertainment Complex Go Go's there is really not much you are going to see in Manila quality wise that you have not already seen in AC or Sabang. Up to you, but you should understand that what sets Bottoms, Plan B, & Kojaks girls apart from their sisters elsewhere and on the street is their higher quality looks, attitude, and service. This is the prime reason I keep returning to MNL and not to other towns in the PI. Higher Burgos prices? You bet! But worth it in today's market if you are into quality Pinays.

Throughout the years I have spent a small fortune on quality girls in BKK, Pat, CGK, Phnom, Yangon, Macau, and MNL and I don't regret one single peso, baht or dollar I have parted with. Not saying I don't do lower priced girls too, I do. There are diamonds in the rough all over and totally enjoyable girls available for a lot less in other markets and venues, but what I am saying is that the better looking girls generally know who they are, what they are worth, and they are not in the business of giving it away. You do the math and ask yourself the key question: are you happy with the girls you have been with thus far on your PI trip? Your trip reports seem to indicate otherwise.

Yes there are some great girls but they know it and can pick and choose who they want to go with. You can't just barfine them, first question mamasan will ask her it's so you want to go with him. Then there's the shelf life of the girl, they usually don't last long in the business. So being a regular visitor to Manila improves your chances of success with the more contacts you acquire.

The percentage of Go Go girls in my favorite Go Go's that really appeal to me is between 5% and 10% in both cities. BKK just happens to have 3 or 4 times more quality Go Go's. That's all.

I have done a price comparison between a Plan B ST (all in including 2 Lady Drinks) to Kings Castle 1 (ST all in including 2 Lady Drinks) and the price is not that far apart. 6400 peso for Plan B vs. 4700 Baht for KC 1 for example. Then, as you point out, being a regular MNL visitor improves you chances. It also cuts down on your expenses as ALL my favorite repeat Burgos girls are more than willing to come straight to my hotel at night instead of showing up for work at their GO GO's thereby eliminating the barfine. This happens with much less frequency in BKK although a few of my favorite Thai girls like to come over for afternoon pool parties before work. .

As to what bars in which location have the better lookers and to what quantity, I leave that up to the individual punter to decide. I do pretty well in both cities. And the girls are so different. I really like that. Viva la Difference!

But they ARE expensive. At least getting them the 1st time is really expensive. But after that, hooking up with them is fairly easy and not too exorbitant. It is kind of like the way it works at a BKK Gentleman Club like the Pimp Club. Meeting and making contact is the expensive part. Then all subsequent rendezvous are more reasonable. I do not inflate a girl's looks in my personal rating system. Most of the girls I find attractive in Burgos Go Go's and BKK Go Go's are in my opinion 6++ out of 10. In my hometown $300 pays for time with 6,7, so not much difference here although maybe perf in Manila would be better. I suppose the thing is if I spend 3 k on business airfare and 2 k on accom and another k on extras is that 6 k VFM to bang hookers in Manila? (I know) that's only a question I can answer.
