I am planning to come to Medellin in November but worried about my safety there. I have been reading all the reports and excited that there are many beauties floating around. However, I have also seen many videos about robbing and drugging happening in this town.

I don't plan to indulge in Tinder or any dating app.

You will have to up the price 50% or more and most likely have been with them a few times prior so they kind of know you. Your success rate will be around 25% because they use old pictures, edited photos, no replies, bait and switch (Julie is gone or busy but here take Samatha), and the list goes on and on. I tried the main websites in 5 major cities and all had the same results.

So there is the connection I suppose. Basically brothel would be the closest english term I think. Lots of descriptions if you dig back through reports. Search for "New Life" for reports about one of the bigger ones, and in most respects typical of what these casas are lke.

The last few years, I've been there almost six months of each year. I've never been drugged. I think a girl tried one time, but she didn't succeed. I haven't been robbed. A few times, chicas have taken some money from my pants while I was showering. Some people on this forum advise to never let the chica out of your site. I can't live like that. In my opinion, having a good time with a chica involves some level of trust. I don't party with chicas in my apartment. I offer them non alcoholic drinks, and I drink water. The water is gone after two or three gulps, so no opportunity for foreign substances. I don't pick up chicas from Parque Lleras. You just have to be careful with every girl you invite to your place no matter where you found her. Not drinking with the girl is something I would recommend. Having a place with security is another good decision.

I thought 200 K was a fair portion for what she had earned and paid her that. She did not complain as she was putting on her close, so it was fair for her also. About $55 US.
