A lot of places now do not advertise an office but tell you to call from the station and they direct you to the office and then a love hotel or directly to love hotel. You then have to phone and let them know where you are and the room number. I'm no good on the phone in either English or Japanese :(Of course if you can just walk into a in house parlour then that's different then generally good social skills might win out, but in my experience less common these days.

Well said! For the businessmen, newcomer and the short term visitor to Japan, I feel for you. When I first came to japan, I spoke not a lick of Japanese which left me few options. It was either try to pick up English speaking girls in gaijin bars, as the other foreign hyenas circled close by, salivating over the same prey. Or, it was calling up the safe options like AM, which was sometimes ok, but was usually expensive. But being bold and taking a few risks can pay off - hit different bars, talk to girls on the street, walk into more places, enlist a Japanese friend. Maybe you can get him to claim he represents you, a famous diplomat/rock star/F1 driver, to get Maria Ozawa to visit your room!For the guys resident here who can't speak J-go, just a bit of conversation practice opens new doors. I just took an hour lesson every week in a language school, and in 6 months I could order girls over the phone and had picked up a couple of girls who couldn't speak any English. Not to mention I became able to live properly in this country and take control of my life. I enjoyed my lessons I can now read most everyday things short of a newspaper. Point is, yeah I'm proud I can now speak Japanese - I won't ever be one of the Japan club and don't want to be, but I can now plunder more of their natural resources! My low rates for for Japanese healths only. These are the highest class places that are licensed and the ladies have regular medical examinations. The prices reflect this and are usually something like Y14000 for 40 minutes. They are nothing like esute which are not licensed and the ladies are not checked out regularly. For me, these are an extremely nut to crack, but not so tough as the soaps in Kawasaki where I am 0:100000. I don't know what it is but I have had no luck there and don't even waste time trying anymore. Ditto for the healths in Kawasaki. I'm headed for Japan for layover. I'll be there for 20 hours and was wondering if anyone can recommend a place. I always to go Kawasaki alone. My friends won't go there. They still think it's the dirty place it was during the Bubble. I am sure if I had a Japanese friend go with me it would not be so much of a problem. My hit rate in Yoshiwara is pretty decent, albeit at a much higher price. This is often more important. You learn about when and how to use very polite Japanese. I found when I used normal Japanese I had a high failure rate. When I started using polite Japanese my rate went up. My main problem is with Healths. To me, they are at the top of the food chain in terms of quality of Japanese ladies and choice. They are strictly get-em-in-get-em-out operations (hence, the short session times and relatively high price) and are often smoky and a little dirty but the quality of the ladies is pretty good.Regarding looking at websites, I have spent many hundreds of hours doing this sort of prep work. I don't just head out to Shimbashi or Okachimachi unarmed. I have a list and a plan. For instance, in Okachimachi where the density is very high I can hit 30 places in an hour or less. They are all clustered together in two main areas, some of them clustered in the same building.Most of the time, I have a plan for failure, using ending in a bath at Champs with an older woman who I've already vetted or I head across town for a painful massage at Asian Feeling. Both provide relief at the end which is often good enough after the frustration of rejection. Note that this is a time-consuming proposition and I usually burn 3 hours on a Saturday afternoon doing this sort of activity.I think a lot of guys here just want the magic bullet. Cheap FS with a young, cute Japanese lady. CB and AM provide almost what you are looking for but at a steep price. They can command that price because you can't speak Japanese. You are basically paying for an invisible interpreter, who happens to be built into the tencho and lady. If you needed an invisible interpreter to accompany you, how much would you have to pay that person to work for you? CB and AM are simply providing this invisible interpreter. [/QUOTE]A quick run through of what I've gotten in Japan. The cheapest FS from a Japanese girl I've ever gotten was 16,000 yen for an hour. She was young, but was a 6 at best, more likely a 5 actually (dim lighting). This came with a hotel room and there was no upselling at all.The cheapest FS I've gotten from a top quality Japanese girl is 20,000 yen for 80 minutes. Normally you have to pay a nomination fee of 2000, but you can get out of that in various ways. Also there was a hotel room fee of 2000 yen (provided through the store), but this can be dropped if the store has a special, or possibly some sort of time service. Anyways the total damage is about 20,000 to 24,000 yen for 80 minutes. Again, no up selling.You can find stores with similar price models to the ones above almost anywhere in major cities, but I have never been to one where they didn't confirm I spoke Japanese. I'm not going to say you can't find a place similar to these that will also take in non-Japanese speaking foreigners, but I have never been to one. Honestly though, you'll have better chances in the nampa scene.Again, that's not to say it's impossible as a monger to find top-quality girls, but at this point we're talking about high-quality soaps which cost quite a bit.

I paid 15k for 50 minutes. Last time I was there, most of the booths with the Koreans, Chinese, Thai girls were closed. Have they reopened?Chinese estutes: I live in China so I am not interested. Most of the Chinese girls I see in Japan would not be able to get any customers in China or would be standing in front of a hovel for 30 RMB ST (400 JPY). Ever since NK got shutdown, it is very difficult to get FS from a Japanese lady without going to a soapland which is going to be quite expensive. It's not difficult because of a lack of Japanese skill, either, it's just plain difficult even for native Japanese to get cheap FS with a young attractive lady.Young, cute Japanese ladies do not consider themselves hardcore prostitutes (i.e. offering FS). Offering FS to them is hardcore prostitution and mostly illegal except for at soaps because of the way the law is written.Come to think about it, I can't think of anywhere you can get cheap FS from a young, cute Japanese lady. The difference with soaps is that the girls who work there are technically independent contractors who are just contracting the space and purchasing supplies from the soapland. Therefore if the cops come in and bust the joint, the owners have a legal argument to hide behind. Of course the reality, which is a larger issue, is that the legal code really doesn't mean anything in Japan, because it is interpreted and applied based on the actors involved. As someone smarter than me once said, "Japan is a country of customs, not laws." So FS has been illegal since April 1, 1958, but the reality is that soaplands are allowed to offer FS, and others aren't for complex and convoluted reasons that have no bearing on the law.

Their prices say 20,000 each, but you multiply that by 3 to get the the real price and then you add another 10,000 for the Gaijin service fee. The total comes out to 70,000 yen for 100 minutes, you might get them to toss the Gaijin fee though, but that's up to you. Not cheap by any means, but these girls are probably the girls you're looking for. I'd recommend tokubetsu over playgirl though, but only because I haven't been to playgirl, but I've been to tokubetsu many times and the girls always looked stunning.Now, a quick note, I'm sure there are cheaper soaps that will take non-Japanese speaking foreigners that ALSO have the girls you want. It's just a matter of footwork.
