General Info

Read this in a Phil blog and thought it was worth posting here as just another example of why the Phil is, and will remain a third world country. Not that we care when we are between the sheets with some sweet Filipina.

For those unfortunate enough to live in AC aka the RH, be aware that the so called LTO office at SM is broken.

They will not tell you that they are broken. Instead they will run you through the fake medical exam and collect your money. Then they will tell you to take your documents to window 1 to get your new drivers license. Only then will they tell you they are "broken".

Apparently they broke their single printer and have no backups and have no maintenance agreements. So they are looking for someone who can fix the broken printer.

So when you show up at window 1 to finish your processing you are told to go find yourself another LTO to do the work they cannot do.

I asked them why they didn't post a notice or inform those that appear to obtain a renewal that they are "broken". As usual in this back end of the Philippines it appears to be beyond their basic ability to comprehend.

They did claim that they hope, no promises, to actually be able to do their job sometime in the next month. However knowing the local area, that is likely to meant next year. .

Just another day in the RH.

They may have a protocol and process and legal framework to handle broken printers. So the main thing is, did they follow 'protocols'?

So. Try as you may, you cannot' convict them for inefficiency. Just like the recent anti-drinking law. Left with too many loopholes so that should a driver kill a pedestrian, while drunk, he may drag his case while he becomes a congressman and do two terms before his case gets called finally

PS: I am not sure if I posted this here, but. Recently an educated Filipino friend swore that Taiwan is a Province of China. No kidding, because, based on Protocol and PH's recognition of ONE CHINA, TW doesn't exist. And then they scratch their arses wondering why the Taiwanese are mighty pissed off at the Filipinos, never mind that Ph has a million times to loose than TW, if relations sour. (oh, a Filipino proudly claimed Taiwans' manufacturing sector will die without filiipinos, somebody forgot to tell him there are others willing to step in. And cheaper as well)

Maybe it was badoo or plenty of fish but one of those types clearly werent sure how to classify Taiwan. And so when inputting a phone number for cuties to contact you (I formerly lived in taiwan) it kept advising. : not a valid number for PRC ". Dohhh.

Well there are many pinays working in Taiwan thats for sure. Having lived there and having bedded many I know. But there are also Indonesians, Vietnamese and many Thais. Again, the Philippines always thinks its the biggest and the best and totally indispensable. Sad that their knowledge is based on "pinoy pride" and not factual.

Well I don't know the details around the incident in Davao with the overshooting of runway. But overshooting a runway do not imidiately calls for an emergency. That depends on many factors (how far you overshoot, the aircarft still intact and not burning (then it is better to keep passengers inside until emergency personell can arrive with stairwyas and needed equipment). Overshooting can be ofcourse serious shit according to Air France in Montereal not many years ago. Probelm in this case could have been that after oversooting a runway manuals for cockpitcrew say shut down the engines. If engines start burn after shutdown no signals will be transfered into the cockpit malfunctionpanels and from the cockpit you can not see the engines.

I don't excuse the captain of this flight, that in most cases a rapid escape comes in handy, but he also have certain conserns of passangers running all around tarmac area with probably other aircraftmovements after escaping. Maby he did a good call or not I don't know. With an engine on fire we talk about rapid getting the slides out and passengers out but not on the wings though. Have to advice passengers to not use overwingexits atleast not on the side the engine is burning. Maby he got a late call on this.

But the ordersystem inside an aircraft is captain, first officer, chief of cabin and than down to passengers. This incident will be investigated by european investigators aslong as this was an european aircraft(a319, 320, 321)so we will know eventually.

He has the hardship of investigating this while surrounded by pinays (tough job as he said!

Having recently completed a 7 week sojourn in the PI, and having bareback sex with 10 women, on my return, I went to my doc for a complete set of tests for every STI.

I do this after every trip, and I post the results here, to provide some real numbers and one statistic in the discussion of risk factors in bareback sex.

The test results came back clean. No STI.

This brings to about 440 the number of women with whom I have had sex without a condom throughout my life. And not one single case of STI.

Sex does reduce stress and is a form of exercise, especially with all the "equipment" you use haha so perhaps all the call center girls will be more active in the pursuit of getting laid due to this new program. Regards.

I can concur with your report, however I once got an STD, my only caveat is I get a bad tummy no matter where I travel worldwide except Africa where I originate, must be the water. How clean the bottled water is anybodies guess. I am a heavy vitamin C user, never ever take any pharmaceuticals at all, not even for headache.

Since the incident occurred last night at about 7:30, until now (15:00 the next day) , there have been no flights to or from the airport and as of mid morning at least the plane was still there blocking the runway.
