While your intent is right, I think you are asking for too much personal info. I think at the end of the day its about helping each other.

While my approach is not perfect, I generally, do the following:

1. If the contact is SP coordinating. I don't over check the sharing, as an SP will be used to it and not having issues.

2. if Indie that are not much shared. I tend to just have a quick look at all the FRs that a person may have written. You will actually find a lot of Seniors also, who don't really write FRs but just write commentary so, just use discretion.

Anyway, my core point being, all of us here use an alias and that is to hide our identity, we should respect that and hence not really ask for info that may make people feel violated later. Ofcourse its the responsibility of the person to keep his details a secret, by we all know sometimes jonny takes over.

Thanks for your genuine suggestion here. Will try to take some lessons from this.

However if someone is genuinely good & you need to protect that space, some mechanisms may need to be deployed. The same seniors will have no harm in sharing their identity with the girl. Doesn't their privacy or discreetness go for a toss then? Or is ot acceptable because Jhonny rules?

What I am merely asking is to keep fake / cheap people away.

In the process if people want to keep their identity as a discreet tool, they might as well loose this one.
