Please elaborate on Loutron: What night of the week? What time of day? How many girls presented for you? How many were trashy, with tattoos, silicone? How many were natural? Did you use the notebook and pencil to write down your favorites? Did the lovely you selected try to upsell in the room? Was she successful? How many positions were included in the standard price? What is the base price now? Everything is covered, unless you pay how much? Thanks,
I have not visited Loutron just yet and no expert however I believe it is one of the more upscale casas in Medellin. Energy I have been to a few times and really like. I can't wait to visit MDE again (first trip in 2005, last trip the end of 2019 before it "all went down" Now I scared of all the gringos being drugged / robbed and some killed from poor date choices however I never liked dating via social media just a see and meet "casa" man! .
Been to every Spanish speaking country in South and Central America and have never heard 'amanecida' or 'dawn. '.
They most definitely use Amanecida in Colombia which means "hasta la amanecida."
Better not to commit to amanecida until you're tried her out short-time.
I get what you're saying. But I lived and worked around and played with Colombianas for a solid four years in Central and South America, including Colombia itself, and I don't recall ever hearing or seeing that word. That's a long enough time that I think if it were that common I would recall hearing it used or seeing it written, but I don't (shrugs). By the way, I have never thought someone was trying to rip me off just because they gave me a price in dollars. Of course they're doing it because they're interacting with a foreigner. For me it's never been a problem. Let the buyer beware. And let the buyer know the exchange rates and proceed accordingly!
I never do business with anyone in any country quoting me in USD unless that is the official currency.
A short story I was living in Bogota for a while and needed a dentist Woodman posted one, so I went to him, my Espanol sucks and he speaks Ingles.
So off I went, I meet this guy and he's practically jumping up and down off of the ceiling when I start speaking in Ingles, I talk to him a while and tell him where I live and what I'm doing working there.
Yet he still starts mentioning prices in USD and I very sternly stopped him and said I don't live in the USA haven't in quite some time and I haven't seen USD in quite some time.
Tell me the prices in COP but as he's going thru my mouth he just keeps quoting in USD, they do this so you think in dollars, not COP, its not rocket science.
They are trying to manipulate your thinking, I probably asked him 10 times to give me the prices in COP but he absolutely refused so I went somewhere else.
So he rec'd ZERO COP from me and ZERO USD.

If you prefer the casa scene, it is worth a visit. It's definitely a safe environment. It's overpriced, imo. But it's your money. I'd also say, in my experience, ymmv rules the day. I've had some good sessions, one great session and one really bad sesion. If I remember correctly, the price was somewhere around 400 k. My biggest criticism of the place? The quality. My best selection was an 8. Hard to complain about an 8. But in my opinion. I've not seen the quality others have reported. (Very subjective, of course.).

You're in control of your own mental faculties (if healthy). So, don't let some shifty shyster manipulate your mind. You wouldn't have needed him to tell you the price in pesos if you yourself understood the exchange rate. I say again let the buyer beware. And even more importantly, let the buyer know the exchange rate! You already didn't trust him. So why would you trust him to give you the correct rate in pesos? I ask you the same thing. Are you kidding me? People need to take charge by educating themselves. Most people aren't trying to scam you just because they quote a price in dollars. And if they are trying to rip you off, then you protect yourself by knowing the appropriate exchange rate in advance.

Yeah that should have been the first clue. Of course the price was cheap from an American perspective, but outrageous from a Colombian perspective. At least she has not had any problem with the work and it has been a few years.

That advertise We Speak English or We Accept USD EURO CAD Jaja no thanks.
The only way I would be interested is if they could convince me they were better and cheaper than everyone else.

Only problems I had were being unable to understand Portuguese, a severe gum infection from their temporary veneer strip, 4-5 repeat visits to redo the crown he did and a trip to a periodontist and my regular dentist for the gum infection. Now after 7 months the gum pain has gone down.
Imagine if I had gotten the work done in Cali, for a cheap price. How would I pay for the 4-5 repeat visits, airfare and hotel stays, to treat the resulting gum inflammation and crown problem?
And his dental assistant was a dentist from Cali who did some of the work. She had to be a dental assistant in the US because she was not licensed as a dentist yet in US.

Anyone here actually on the ground in Medellin?
I will be staying in Centro, and am looking for casas, clinicals, whatever they call them in Colombia.

Go to their page and you can contact them to make an appointment with one of the girls. I'm not sure if you can just walk-in to that place, I believe that it is appointment only.
