With the federal election set for September 07 and Kevin announcing that the resources boom is well and truly over it's not surprising that I've noticed a slowdown in many industry sectors. What I also see is a knock-on effect to other sub-sectors like the AMP taking a slow but reluctant reduction in their hourly rates to get customers through doors, cash-flow it's called. As a result, many have opted for a fifty or sixty / hour 'opening special' Indeed, despite being well established, many owners I have spoken with say they would continue their price restructuring as a market response. Melbourne is stacked with places charging seventy$ upwards for a crap massage made up with sometimes even crappier extras. The result, you've spent 90-100$ and the question you must ask yourself is, was that money well spent, probably not. Would you probably be better off going nude relaxation with extras for the same price and getting your satisfaction that way or going to a FS establishment.

More often I'm on the lookout for good low entry AMP with nothing else intended other than a quality massage. Here is a very small sample of 50ahour places visited and I realise there are heaps more;

Jasper day spa Mckinnon (A newbie) 50-60ahour depending on who you know. Good massage + horny.

Red Lotus Cheltenham A newbie. 50-60ahour depending on who you know. Very good straight massage.

Brighton Beach (recent report) 50ahour cheap entry but upsize$$$ so no value, Don't ask for Lola

Origin on High Glen Iris. 50ahour Very good massage each timex4.

Holiday Calm, North and Warrigal. 50ahour never visited but understand straight + very good.

Pings Footscray. 50ahour Cheap but is it any good I am not sure.

There have been a few cases where I finished up voting with my feet after the act due to hindsight. Avoiding that is one of the strong features of a forum like this. Negative one is a tsunami of visits after a great report and in some cases guys actually trying to use " well you did such and such for somebody else, so I want the same".

My recent post putting forward the newly opened Jasper day spa as a shining example of where to get a solid yet reliable massage for 50-60h has been quashed.

Subsequent to the above, I revisited Jasper and being cautious I booked a half hour with Kathie. It turns out, that the quality of massage I associated with previously has been reduced to a tickle on the ass and the back flap to entice you to hand over an extra thirty dollars to finish you off. No-way was I interested in their scam and told her. The girl looked surprised and disappointed that she didn't score with me. I have now re-categorised this place in the same soup-mix with other AMP offering a below-par service.

There are also limited snacks and drinks a relax lounge (mixed.they give you dressing gowns, sometimes shiatsu massage is available. I prefer the ones in Japan although the ones in the city are starting to become segregated too.
