HIV can enter only through an open cut or sore[/b], or through contact with the mucous membranes in the anus and rectum, the genitals, the mouth, and the eyes."
During the discussion in the "Giotto's Lodge in Bangkok" thread it was pointed out by another poster, that there is a transmission risk via normal skin because microscopical cuts may exist, caused by smaller injuries, pedicure etc. .
There is nothing more to say about this issue. Everybody may decide for himself how he considers the risk of having microscopical cuts at his fingers which could cause a transmission of the virus into the bloodstream. I also believe that nobody with an [b]open cut or sore[/b] at his fingers will seriously bring this wound into contact with female body fluids.

Iīm not experienced in Bangoko Thai brothels and MP's. I will try them first time in November/December. But when I bring my "Dentist" fluid with me do they rinse out their mouths by request. This is a rather way to avoid some STDīs. I practise that for mostly 8-10 years with girls and never had a STD based on mouth transmitted pests.

I allways carry some "wound desinfection spray" from europe with me. It doesn`t burn, just cools, which is sometimes pretty nice :-). I only use it when madam was very very wet and I fear having gotten to much liquids everywhere. So I clean with the spray after washing .
@Higgins T: I t is only effective on bacterium in the mouth. I rinse out my mouth (and the girls mouth) before and after. This turns down the risk of infections but only on bacterial transferable STDīs. Better then nothing.

Treatment- yeah, easy, however, wrt Giotto's thread, the big danger with HIV is that anyone with an existing STI ( or STD- depending on your terminology) is at greater risk from getting infected with HIV, not just because of sores- they are fucken obvious, but because of an inflamed urethra in the case of a man. Most STIs will cause an inflamed urethra, which may be just below the threshold of reportable symptoms of an STI.
In Australia, the WGs at brothels give your dick a thorough examination before use, and even though it's covered sex, they will turn you down if you have any kind of lesion on your dick, or substantial reddening of your Jap's eye!
There's a lot of shit spoken about HIV, but sure as fuck unprotected sex is a good way of getting it. Interestingly, HIV strains are starting to show resistance to current treatment due to mutation. Retroviruses like HIV are bastards to treat in the first place, and there are few points of vulnrability- reverse transcriptase from memory is the best, and viruses such as HIV which have in all probability crossed the species barrier, tend to be adept at mutating.
So anyone who believes that they can take the risk, and if they get infected live on a cocktail of drugs for many years, be aware, science has not caught up with viruses, which have been around for as long as DNA/RNA. Specifically RNA viruses like HIV 'exploit all mechanisms of genetic variation to ensure their survival'.

I personally would be very careful giving advice or adjusting my behaviour depending on something that has been written on the web, especially regarding this subject. All sorts of nonsense can be found at the web, there are even websites which claim that unprotected sex is safe or even that HIV/AIDS does not exist at all. You can find a website for any sort of argumentation, so only relying on a webpage can be risky.
I rather stick to the ever valid rule "better safe than sorry".

You are totally correct in all aspects. Only tonight I got covered in blood from a twat who wanted to fight with me in a hospital energency depertment. Condoms are 100% safe when used properly. Shit, I even argue with my wife about this and she is a science teacher with a degree in pharmacology. Sometimes people believe shit that is published.
