Thanks. I've been to the Pine Tree spot. There's another up that way called Paradise that recently reopened, pretty good too. And two more right across the street from it -- one is Night Star and the other next door to it I don't remember the name of. Those two are very similar, a slight step below Paradise. Thanks again, Will let you know how it goes.
The one next door is called BUMBI (I know cause my shop is only a few doors down on the same side of the street)
If you like Thong Xanh then you will definately like 261 (same owners, but 261 is alot more busier and more famous than TX, alot of models and pop stars, models etc. go there. It's really for the rich locals and viet kieu's)
Need anymore help in this area of Sai Gon then let me know. I know my way around this area very good as I have stayed in this area and done business in this area for a long time now.

Txmanny: Ah ok, Que Quang must be so small that I didn't see it on the map. Thanks.
2234: This 261 sounds interesting. Where is it? I've never heard of it, unless its one I've been to but just don't know by that name. I don't think so though. We actually went to Pine Tree last night and weren't allowed in on the first two levels for some reason. The third level was nothing great. One beer, left.

261
261 is on Nguyen Van Troi with the same address, however it was closed down about 2 weeks ago. I'm not sure if the cops shut it down or they were just remodeling.
-
OK yes we were at Pine Tree again last night and asked, and they filled us in. I think it's been more than 2 weeks it's shut. I knew of the place already, but didn't know it by that name. We all just still called it by its old name, #1. (Nhac Tre #1) The Le Thanh Ton location was also shut down around the same time. I never did get into the one on Nguyen Van Troi when it was open. It seems as if Pine Tree has picked up the slack though, with 4 floors open now and very busy.
I found the Khanh Loc place too, though haven't ventured inside yet. Huyen Quang is the little alley street it's on. You could drive past it six times and never know it's there.
Anyone know where we can get a good Massage in Saigon ? I tried some place.
Yes there are plenty m8. For a good one with lots and lots of beauties, go to FESTIVAL massage on CAO THANG street, district 3, just off Ng Thi Minh Khai.
261 and No1 are getting renovated, these 2 clubs and TX can NEVER get shut down, for one good reason. 50% of 261 is owned by the government (nha nuoc) ;) (there is a good reason for this, long story)
Hello,
Don't worry about bread and bakeries, it has been the contribution of the French to the Vietnamese civilisation; There are many bakeries and one is just in front of the New World Hotel.
For the (nice and legal) young-looking girls you like, you can find them easily by 9-10 pm (with their pimp), in the street (service side of the New World Hotel) that crosses the public garden. But, usually, they do not want to spend the whole night, even if they say so; so beware, go to a hotel you know and never pay before.
Have a good stay,
Dirty Old Man
I will stay in New world hotel , do you think I can find room service for "massage"?
Thanks

Massage Places
Anyone know where we can get a good Massage in Saigon ? I tried some place.
Also try Tokyo Hotel (Dong Kinh Hotel in Vietnamese) in district 5. They have a massage there open 24hr/day. Good service. 100,000vnd for the massage/sauna/steambath etc.
Most locals will tip the girl 100 to 150k for hand relief. If you like the girl ask for her number. Some will do house calls!

Thanks
It's quite hard to get girls into the New World Hotel m8 (I know from experience lol). It's not impossible, just depends if the reception believes if the girl is LEGIT friend or not, but trust me it is very hard to get past.

The guards generally let girls up but its best if you go early. Anything after 10 is impossible!
Try going up before 10pm. The guards generally let girls up but its best if you go early. Anything after 10 is impossible!
Caravelle is girl friendly until 11:00. I've always negotiated the deal and returned to my room. Ten minutes later the phone rings and it is the desk calling to inquire whether I am expecting Miss Thuy. I give the girl the bar fine, together with her fee after the deed is done. I've never had a problem in not paying the bar fine in the bar which runs the risk that they just pocket it and no Miss Thuy.

There are actually two places very near one another on Cao Thang with this same Festival name. One is Festival 27, which is a few doors south of the other Festival. Fesitval 27 is closer to the cinema. Which one do you mean? The one further north is much bigger, though even the smaller one is pretty large.
thanks

Went to THANH LOC last night. Not a good experience, sorry to say.
First, we met the woman Duyen (I'm fairly sure it was her and not Mai). She told us that one of those 2 girls (Phuong, Thuy) was busy with another customer (we arrived just after 8 and seemed to be the only customers at that point, tho I could be wrong) and that the other was in the countryside. OK, fair enough. So three girls were brought in to choose from. Then one more after we asked if there were only 3 available. My friend picked one from the first three. She came back in. My choice (the last one) left though. I presumed she'd be right back. My friend got to know his girl and I just waited and waited. 20 minutes. Asked where the girl was and the other girl said she went to the toilet. Um. Ok. FINALLY the girl came in and sat by me. We started to get to know each other. Maybe 5 minutes, not much more. A knock on the door: there was a phone call for her. I'm thinking now, why would a phone call take priority over spending time with the customer? Well, of course she was gone a long time again. It was now nearly 9pm, we arrived at about 8:10. I asked to switch to another girl, one from the first batch. No, she was taken already. A few minutes later, I decided this was hopeless, even if my original girl finally showed up the vibe would be terrible. Checkbill, please. A few minutes later I heard her high heels approaching down the hallway. No, sorry. Checkbill. Too late. Sorry. Checkbill. I'm sorry. No problem. Checkbill. Finally we got the bill, and I told Duyen why we were leaving. She motioned for me to tip the usher guy 30,000 (the guy who poked his head in the door and told the girl to go take her phone call), which I thought wasn't quite the response I was looking for.
In hindsight, it seems obvious that this almost certainly wasn't the girl's doing -- there must have been another customer she was simultaneously spending time with, and that couldn't happen without the management coordinating it. And the 'phone call' -- it was the staff that played that little charade. I doubt the usher was doing something the management didn't want him to do.
So while we didn't get ripped off on the beers or food, the experience was really a thorough disappointment. A ruined evening, really. By the time we got out it was too late to go to a similar Plan B.
I wonder if there's some way to prevent something like this from getting started. If this is how it is in these spots, then there's really no point going to them.
