Background: Middle-aged, in relationship at home, some prior experience in Germany and the UK.

Arrived in Bangkok and after some wandering in a daze decided to try a straight Thai massage recommended in Lonely Planet – after declining the profferred extras, I found the service rather perfunctory but still good value. Had not been able to get a room at Livingstone’s Lodge so went to soi 33 just to visit the bar but found it closed for a private party so visited Sazanka MP for the full monty, and was happy with the service. Next day I had to fly to another country on business, returned to BKK a week later, was met at the airport by very respectable Thai friends who I knew would insist in their polite way on seeing me safely checked-in, so to spare blushes I had booked at the Davis, to transfer to Livingstone’s next night (every time afterwards that they came to collect me, I waited for them at the Novotel Lotus next door). Finally got to go to LL Sports Bar and had a great time surrounded by four girls, buying them all drinks, at closing time I had a tortuous decision to make as I decided to limit to two! Decided on one who had faithfully been caressing me all evening on my right (who spoke some English) and another (more lively one) who I had done some great dancing with (but who spoke no English). Mamasan came over to tell me the price for LT, decided not to haggle and even paid over the odds due to lack of local currency.

Got to the room and once in bed safely sandwiched, looking forward to my two-girl all night fantasy. Initially I preferred the quieter one but before very long she was sound asleep and the lively one who had at first seemed a bit too much came into her own; we both took a lot of pleasure. Woke up with a phone going off at 6 am, the quiet one got up and left telling me the other would take care of me. Slept on till 9am when the other one got up, offered me more fun (I declined) and left with a mutually affectionate hug. Having indulged the two-girl fantasy, I don’t think I would do it again, or not LT as sleep not too easy; probably the best thing about it is it improves the odds of finding a nice compatibility.

A girl came up to me on the sofa, not the most attractive girl I have ever met by some distance but very slim and petite (opposite to my normal diet at home) and affectionate, did not expect to go with her but found my body had other ideas. So we agreed a very reasonable LT rate and bar fine and we jumped on the backs of a couple of motorbikes to the Sabai Resort (good hotel btw). She left her ID at the desk and so to the room - where my body continued to take over, she was so affectionate all night, in the morning she asked me if she would see me again, I told her maybe, she knew it meant no, I felt a bit of a heel but pleased I had been straight with her.

To BKK for the last night of my trip, very happy to return to Livingstone’s (such a great hotel in its own right and all the staff just great). On impulse went for a massage at a place I was passing on soi 33/1, not intending to have any extras - the girl was amazing, so bubbly and happy and she begged me to have a doubled up oily session with another girl, which happened to be another fantasy so I agreed - they did a great service and of course my no-extras notion was short-lived. Decided to drop in at Livingstone’s sports bar before I put to bed for an early night, could not see any familiar faces from last time so decided to have one drink then leave. Then it all started to go out of control - suddenly both girls from last week materialised magically in front of me - huge hug with the lively one, she massaging my back and shoulders for a long time, then the dancing started again, wound up with the sports TV being turned off and two of us dancing on the high podium and all the girls cheering us on and giving us small bills to encourage us - what a night. We played some foursome pool with another couple and then I started to feel I was becoming part of a couple and acquiring a girlfriend, I didn’t want a girlfriend, in any case I was leaving tomorrow, and she spoke no English. So for better of worse, I told her I had to sleep, was very tired, and I wanted to leave, her friend tried to dissuade me, mamasan ditto, but those reports of tearful goodbyes at the airport came back to me and I couldn’t bear the idea of all that, so I left, she was so sweet to me as I left, no anger at all (breaks my heart to think of it now).

Anyhow, I slept soundly, went to the airport, checked in, walking to passport control, thinking how good it will be to get home when suddenly and completely out of the blue I got hit by an emotional tsunami that left me without thoughts but the certain knowledge that more had happened to me in Thailand than I realised at that moment and that I would be coming back.

She is probably putting on weight from drinking too many tequilas (gets drunk often), if I have got the right girl who looks half Japanese and has certainly put on weight (was doing the fairy show recently too) although her skinny dance partner N*** downs a lot of tequilas too without any apparent effect.

I like getting the boss at Long Gun drunk too, so that everyone can relax and have a good time.

Checking out the Grace Hotel on Soi 3 in the last 2 weeks on my walks in the afternoon and evenings, I was surprised to see many P4P ladies outside on the sidewalk similar to the Nana Hotel. This was around 11 p. M. There were no Russians there and nothing to write home about, although indoors my T3 scanner spotted a few 200 pound East European ladies. The best the hotel had to offer was the ping pong and pool tables next to a bowling alley. It also may be a feel safe place for those who are paranoid about year end bombings.

Her current dance partner is very nice also, but alittle too slim for my taste. The information on her rates came from another girl and i have yet to confirm it with her, but it would not surprise me at all. She is indeed hard work and seems generally uninterested in going with customers.

Not sure if the uninterested part is down to her specifically not wanting to, or because she has a complex of sorts. The few times I spoke to her she seemed quite shy and gave me the whole "farangs dont like me and never want to talk to me" routine. As a result her english is not really good and her attitude comes across as really stand-offish, although she seems to warm up over time. Too much hard work for me though, it is like you have to start again from scratch every time you go in there. Yeah she used to have frizzy curlyish hair but recently it has been straightned. She has really white skin for a Thai girl also. Unusual features, I get the Japanese comparison, she almost looks like a anime character :)

She was fully clothed but it was really funny and all the girls were getting into it and cheering, throwing money at her etc. The bar stayed open really late that night for some reason and everyone was partying. Maybe she choreographs the shows or something because she knew and peformed the whole ACDC routine despite her bulk! I have seen her in Rawhide more often than in LG.

I just recently spent 9days in Bangkok for a second time this year.

I stayed at Majestic suites at both times and growing like the place for its great location and friendly staff.

OK folks, want some input and what to do in the middle of the night in BKK.

I hear some markets are open late but which ones, what are the good places to eat in the middle of the night (not need to be restaurants even street places are perfect), I know there are some all night massage places and such but not really looking at trying to pick up a lady at those hours.

But seriously, I need some advice on what to do in the middle of the night and I'm not talking about where to find a girl, I'm talking about what to do besides / after shagging.

Tansak, assuming that you don't have a long-time friend with you from 2 am to 8 am, you might try sleeping. Most of the rest of the world uses this time for this purpose.

Sleep?? Nah... that's what work is for during the day. The only part I'm awake for during the day is lunch time. And I usually do have a long time friend next to me.
