I was getting discouraged by this point, but I'm glad I stuck with. At the next House, number 17 Lor 16 the owner straight off the bat offered 30 min for SGD 60. This is my 3rd visit to Singapore and I've never paid the fabled S 60 before tonight. Pretty happy. The other bonus is it was a Viet House which from my experience always charge more than Thai. I'm not sure if I just got lucky, it was a slow night or if he saw me walking out of all the other houses across the road.

You put the work in and you got the results, that is the key to good mongering.

I would encourage you to walk around. You never know what you might find, and if you don't like the options you can always go back to house 17.
