Your best bet is to go shopping online first. Virtually every girl in Peru has a myspace or hi5 page. This way you will get a feel for the typical body types and looks you will encounter. Generally the Latina model types will only be found in the popular at the moment clubs and an old gringo will not have much success there.

Age is not a problem if you look good and lie well. Most girls prefer a young guy to hook up with and older guys for a serious relationship. My wife who is 30 years younger then myself would never have considered me, had she met me on the street. This is the obvious advantage of the internet, where you can pre-qualify each other without the language barrier. Older women late 30´s-40´s will be much more likely to hook up after a date or two.

Lima is the place to find a beautiful young girlfriend but unless you have friends and invites to their parties, hooking up is for the young guys, whose #´s are increasing rapidly here in Miraflores.

Oscar speaks spanish, and is based in Los Olivos. He has hooked me up with pros and non pros. He has even answered a couple of ads for me, and done all negotiating for me. Of course, some of the ladies tried to do the bait and switch thing, so I didn't partake. But there was no lack of activity to be had.

Having recently visited Lima for a few days (mostly for business), I thought I would share a brief trip report outlining my experiences and observations of the city.

I stayed at the JW Marriott. Pricey but a very nice hotel as expected. JWs generally are. What really surprised me, pleasantly, about this one was that when at check-in I asked for a late check-out (I was thinking 2 pm), they asked for my flight time. When I told them it was around 11 pm, they suggested I check-out at 8:30 pm! And this was at no extra charge. I have paid full rate and half-rate (on a couple of occasions after negotiation) for a late evening check-out, so this unsolicited gesture was very welcome (especially at $200+ per night). The Larco Mar mall right across from the hotel is very nice place to visit. Nice clubs and restaurants there as well. I wouldn’t recommend shopping there as the prices were ridiculously high.

I ended up being much busier (with work) that I had expected so I did not get a lot of opportunities to visit the venues of interest. I did enough for a quick trip though.

Pizza Alley: Frankly I was underwhelmed by it. Very busy and crowded. And although the majority of the people were locals, the whole place seemed very ‘tourist trapy’ to me. I ate at one of the restaurants and got sick that night. The WGs (at least the ones I could identify as such) were below par. To me, a once walk though is all I would do here.

Tequilla Rocks: I liked the place. All as described here on the board. In my opinion, girls ranged from 6 to 8. I wasn’t planning to take anyone out of the place during this trip (because of early morning meetings every day), but I did talk to a few on the high end of the range, and the asking price was consistently in the $100-$120 range. Most seemed willing to negotiate. So I didn’t get the feeling that it is as bad as some have described on this board. YMMV may also apply here.

Trocadero: Wow… I cannot do it justice other than refer you to Tung’s reports and description. Girls ranged from 2 to 6. The place next door, again as Tung has described, makes Trocadero look normal in comparison. Girls here ranged from 1 to 3 when I was there. A definite must see.

Relax y Vida: I went there once. And has an incredible time. It was not at all what I expected, and tuned out to be the highlight of the trip. I really wish I had the chance to visit the place another time to see whether what I received was SOP or I just lucked out. The place is very customer focused which really impressed me. I cannot recall the girl’s name. I asked for her number and she stated that the girls are not allowed to give out numbers. I did not insist, but am confident that if I had or after a second visit it wouldn’t be a problem; maybe.

Taxis not having meters was a bit awkward to me. So I asked and agreed on the price before I got in every time. About a third of the time, the asking price was high and I moved to the next cab.

Generally a good trip.

I will describe it abit for the newbies. On my first visit. I arrived and went into the lobby. There is a blacked out wicket where you pay. It is an old booth like in the old movie theaters. You slide you money in through the bottom opening (entrance fee) and immediately you receive a coupon for entry, a free drink ticket, a coupon for 5 bucks off next visit.

You get a quick nice friendly searching and then you go in. It is laid out in a rectanglular hallway, with 8 ft x 8ft rooms all around. Soom rooms are closed, especially in the daytime and the others have the chicas standing in the doorway trying to huck you for business. It is truely old western style mongering. At the bar, use you free drink coupon and check out the old time gangster types. Old man cappy hangs there alot.

Then take a chica, use that coupon and enjoy. The best thing. And I hate to ruin it. Is the 4" red fire alarm bells above each door to the rooms. They ring non stop. First time I thought it was ringing every time a guy finished doing his laundry. But later I realized it meant your 30 minutes was up.

The rooms are a gas. A bed, a sink, and some stink. Hahahaha

Not for the faint of heart.

Every guy on here. Would do well hiring me to escourt you anywhere in the world. I am like the crocodile hunter. No fear. I handle the wildlife like a champ. And I know all the ropes. And I am still alive too.

Water Boy,

Yes, Peru is not at all like Colombia or Cuba. If it's strictly sex you want you should go to those places. But if you want someone who will genuinely enjoy being with you and doesn't just see you as an ATM, Peru is the place. This difference is a very important one to me, not to some others.

How much patience? Depends on you - your style, your approach, and to some extent (although not much) your age and looks. Two weeks is plenty of time to score multiple times. If you pushed me to be more specific I would say third date at the latest in most cases.

Peru is just more of a girlfriend experience than a bang-em & go experience. Different strokes for different folks.

Time of course is the factor: It is summed up by this equation:

Total Vacation Time = Time to Acquire Taco + Time to Enjoy Taco

Or better yet:
Time to Enjoy Taco = Total Vacation Time - Time to Acquire Taco

Time To Acquire Taco = 3 dates (at one date every other day) = 1 week (7 days) Best case scenario is that she has 3 consecutive days free beginning with the first day of your arrival, giving you a 3 day Taco Acquisition Time (this is and unlikely, hence the 7 day Taco Acquisition Time)

Therefore

If you have 7 day vacation
Time to Enjoy Taco = 7 days - 7 days = 0 days

If you have 14 day vacation

Conclusion:
If you have a 7 day vacation, it is better to PURCHASE your tacos in the "Fast-food" style of Tung or Ezinho and thus be guaranteed of a meal.
