Thanks for your advice. I'm aware of the situations with clubs in the soho area, but do not know if clubs in other areas can give the same problem.. I may take your suggestions and do the walk-ups instead, if I can find some nice looking beauties.

Sure the clip joints of Soho are for idiots, and the lapdancing joints for those with expense accounts, but MPFS asked about the strip clubs around Shoreditch.

I've been in many and never had a problem, apart from having enough pound coins to put in the pint pot when the girl comes round pre-strip.

The quality of girls is variable but usually there's at least one 8 on the rota. I also advise visiting the Trashcity site if you're new to the area/visiting. Many an hour I spent in Brown's having a couple of lunchtime pints on a day off and shelling out 6 or 7 pound coins for 2 hours or more of decent stripping - for mild stimulation at a decent price it's great.

There was also one place in Soho that wasn't a rip-off. It was about £15 entry but then no extra cost for stripshow (downstairs in an old tiny theatre-type place). A bit seedy, but non-stop stageshow and some very good looking chicks. Drinks upstairs at bar were average price, and the good thing was I could go at lunch for an hour, then return in evening with some mates and I'd still get in free again on my original ticket! For the life of me I cannot remember the name, or if it's still there, but I do know it was featured on Men & Motors a couple of years back. I'm sure some other forum reader can remind us of its name!

Of course after this visual stimulation you may need a decent walk-up! :)

Perhaps the place you are thinking of in Soho is the Sunset Strip in Dean Street (also in the Trash City listings) - it's still in business.

For general info, the Ten Bells (in Spitalfields) stopped having strippers two or three years ago. The street girls are still outside though.

I would like to know how you managed to spend two hours in Browns and only put £6 or £7 in the jar. You must have gone to the gents every time you saw the girl approaching you, my experience has been that they come round every 5 minutes.

MPFS Lover, Here's the full details about Shoreditch strip clubs: Nearest tube station:Old Street. After that walking distance or one stop by bus. In front of Shoreditch Church you'll find Browns which has no entry charge and they have table dancing for £15. Otherwise you have to spend only One Pound which the girls collect each time they dance on stage. On Shoreditch High Street in front of the gas station you'll find Rainbow which has £2 or £3 ebtry charge and it costs only One Pound each time the girl dances on the stage. For a private table dance it costs £10 there. At White Horse( further up on Shoreditch High street) there is no entry charge and it costs only 50 pence each time the girls dance on stage. There is no table dancing service. In any case you can save money by not having any table dances, and just watch the dance on the stage.

I'm giving all this information because of the scary,misleading stories by Bono. Also there are no bouncers, and no rip offs in any of these places. But do avoid the Soho strip bars.They are the dangerous ones. Please post a message on the forum when you've come back alive and safe to reassure Bono.

Well I felt that the Spearmint Rhino in Central London is well worth it.I actually ran into some girls who I have seen dance at the local Blue Zebra.The old owner of the Industrial Strip club at North Hollywood now called Blue Zebra manages the Spearmint Rhino location in London. He actually flies in girls from here to work over there. Anyhow, just wanted to say that this club though is quite allright.

You just pay £10 for entry in Spearmint. It's ten times more expensive than the places in Shoreditch. I don't know if the girls are any better. Maybe you have some interest in sending people to Spearmint and scaring them off from Shoreditch.There's another posh place in Mayfair (I don't know the name) which costs the same as Spearmint. Why should people spend ten times more for the same thing.

This is my first time posting in the London forum and I just wanted to get some information on the action. I have traveled from the United States to Amsterdam, Frankfurt, and Moscow and have had a great time at the RLD, FKK's, and Moscow scene. However, I am curious about England since I have never been there. I am mainly interested in knowing where the places to meet women in London are. I am interested in mostly regular girls and not just hookers. By the way, I heard English girls can be liberal when it comes to sex. This might sound silly but I have also heard that in some countries in western Europe girls are attracted to darker guys, like in Sweden. I'm asking because I am hispanic. I would also like to get some information on how expensive London is and how much money I might need for my 6 day stay.

Well Lokayatra,You may be right. I was only quoting my experience not personally but I saw other people being harassed.I usually am pretty level headed and dont get duped but to reassure you I am going to make a trip down to where you say during my trip in November and post a report here

I used to go to the Strip Pubs in London weekly, but not so much now for other reasons.

5 mins walk up Bishopsgate from Liverpool St Station on your right is the White Horse, free admission, 50p in the glass probably every 10 mins.

Virtually next door is RSB Sports Bar, usually £3 admission, 50p in the glass, girls around every 5 mins, some a bit skanky, £10 for a PD, pretty dirty pub.

5 mins further up the road opp Church , Browns free admission £1 in the glass about every 10 mins, nice place girls pretty good, £15 PD.

Come out of Browns turn left, 4 mins walk up Hackney road, Ye Olde Axe, usually about £3 to get in, £20PD, forget whether 50p or £1 in the glass, usually some nice girls there but gone downhill a bit of late.

Catch the 55 bus or a £5 taxi ride up Hackney Road to Images, free admission before around 9pm, later hours, about £15 PD downstairs, no touching.

Just across the road next to the railway is Metropolis, this is an upmarket StripClub, with free admission before 8pm, 50p in the glass, £10 PD, very nice girls, good clean place.
The Met can be reached very easy from Liverpool St just catch a train that stops at Cambridge Heath and the Met is 1min away.

The Met is pretty quiet until 7pm when there is a shift change, get there around 7pm, stay for a couple of hours and make the trip around the other strip joints in reverse order.

Just to add to Lokayatra's report on the Shoreditch strip scene, there is another bar at the far end of Hackney Road called Metropolis which is worth a look. There is normally a bouncer at the door of some of these bars but they are there to keep out drunks and undesirables---not to bully the normal clientel.

Can anyone recommend a parlour in London where the girls generally provide OWO and/or CIM?

I know about this Metropolis. But I found the girls there a bit too persistent. In any case if someone wants to save money he doesn't need to have a table dance. This way you can see 6 girls nude plus a drink for £5. The same thing would cost you at least £50 in Spearmint or other posh places in Mayfair. Has anyone been to Spearmint and Shoreditch places and knows the difference between the girls in the two places. Are the girls really worth the expensive entry etc.?

Once I played the bandit as the stripper coming on was skanky and I'd rather have put my quid in a machine, but I still got harassed by her, and caved in! Charlie - Yep, Sunset Strip on Dean Street is the ONLY DECENT, NON RIP-OFF place in Soho.

ALL - I don't know anyone who's had a bad experience of the East End strip bars, but as pointed out some are a little "rough" in appearance, and some of the girls too. Crikey, I'd forgotten about the Met bar - a mate introduced me to that place and 'twas good. I also have to ask why anyone would want to strongly recommend Rhinos or Stringfellows over these salt of the earth places. Stringys and Rhino have top class lookers, but the no-touch rules are the same, the private dances are usually tamer at the up-market lap-dancing bars, and the stage dancers there don't strip fully unless you buy a dance. Therefore to see one pussy in a bar will cost about £1, maybe only 50p, whereas at Stringfellows or Rhino you would have to spend entrance fee (£10/£20) plus dance fee (£20)
