I have commented on this before and Menteng has correctly (in my view) summarised the situation. To add to that, I know at least three girls who actually prefer black men to white (if all other things are equal). In fact, some even prefer them if things are not equal. I had a "relationship" with the girl in attached photo and I found out she was shagging the (black) lead singer in the group playing in my hotel during the day AND buying him presents with cash I was giving her for shagging her during the night!

Let's stop this discussion about black/coloured vs white. Maybe the girls are just like us men. Some of us prefer black girls, some of us prefer Chinese ones and some of us prefer blonde ones. That doesn't mean that all men prefer black or Chinese or blond.

BTW, I wouldn't classify that Colombian guy as a black. He is what we call here a "mono" , a white guy. That is, if you are referring to the one that also sings some Indonesian songs.

Please pay close attention to how this whole great race debate started: all I asked was what were the differences in general between Filipinas and Indonesian women? I said nothing about my race or the race of the supposed monger at all.

Last time I saw that salsa band was in CJ's, hotel Mulia. The 'mono' I'm referring to, also had a gig at JakJazz last year. The band has also a black singer, one who likes to show his six-pack.

Just a quick note on the taxi scene, I know we all follow the Bluebird rule and that's fairly sensible but I'd like to give a small hat tip to a new kid on the block, "Transcab", you can't miss them they're the orange cabs with the back windscreens advertising their in car TV service. You get cable TV (yes CNN and BBC and other western channels) in the back with a good reception. Not only that but at the end of your journey the driver automatically prints out a little receipt for you.

All very modern and efficient and they deserve to do well.
