You have managed to cover all types of venues this city has on offer except massage places which even I won't bother again with after my experience in the first trip.

Mixed experiences with girls also made me consider PNH as an option but the prices are something to be really factored in comparison with LOS. They do add up eventually. $1000 for a 3 day trip is fairly expensive in my opinion.

The limited options might make a long stay slightly monotonous and boring. I may have to consider living a nocturnal / vampirish life here and sleep in the daytime if I do ever get bored with LOS, Philippines and Jakarta and end up here for a longer stay. The other option is to club a few days side trip to Sihanoukville and I have been advised by my close buddies to take girl along with from PNH and not risk on finding one there.

But appreciate that you have taken this trip, shared with all. This intel like other posted on board will surely benefit someone who plans to or is visiting in near future.

About to make my first visit to town, and have been told the sun and moon hotel is good. Anybody know if its guest friendly? (I'd hate to waste my time on a hotel that was not).

Frankly, I do not think I can ever do a trip here that is longer than a weekend. The sheer paucity of options make a full holiday to this city very difficult.

Sure, one can go to Darling Darling every night and pick a girl. The quality is pretty good there. But the price tag of $100 for ST is eye watering. Not to mention the additional $20 you will spend on drinks. And there is no guarantee the girl will turn out as good in bed as advertised.

Pontoon for poontang is not my idea of fun. I have stated this previously on the LOS forum as well. Going to a disco and staying up till 5 am to pick up a drunk chick does not work for me.

As for the bars on the grid between 136 and 104, you will grow tired after 2 rounds. Only a few have talent that is worth any consideration.

One could cut a side trip to Snooky, but only if you have a reliable performer with you who will not chew your brain when not fucking.

So, once again I will say this. LOS is by far the most favorable mongering destination in Asia, perhaps the world for a variety of reasons. Simply unrivaled.

Cheers in advance.[/QUOTE]I highly recommend it. It's a solid 3. 5-4 star hotel with an excellent rooftop pool. I felt it was important in that climate.

They charge $10 for a girl unless you book double occupancy (which will cost you $10 more per night). If you pull girls more than once a day, booking double makes sense.

The breakfast was decent, but pricey for PP. Right across the street there is a coffee shop. Also kinda pricey, though.

If you want quiet, ask for the internal room. No view, but quiet as it gets.

If I went there again, though, I would splurge for a suite. Just a little more expensive, but looks very nice in the picture.

No question about it. The Land of Smiles: I can't think of another place that has it all. Of course, you can always compare LOS 2017 to LOS 1992 and '92 comes out on top or you can compare Phnom Penh 1995 to BKK 2017 and I think Phnom '95 was more fun too, but this type of comparisons is pointless really because we are living in 2017 and have no choice about it. Truth be told, no destination today is better than it was 20 years ago. But I like visiting Jakarta, MNL, & Macau today as well as LOS because the local girls are sexy and friendly and I like variety in my Asian cuisine, but those cities do not have as much to offer as BKK especially in the afternoons unless you invite your favorite girls over for pool parties. 555.

And I still like Phnom. The girls are unique and very nice and I like the food & culture. One of these days I might invite a favorite Khmer girl to come along with me on a short trip to Battambang or one of the islands. Kampot & Kep are pleasant and I highly recommend Siem Reap if you have never been there.

On Phnom Penh: I still can't think of a better place for a 3,4,6-day visa run although next trip I am going on a visa run to Yangon instead. I went to Burma (Mandalay, Bagan, Yangon) around 7 years ago before the country opened up and I had a good time. I particularly enjoyed the sights and liked the people, but I did not fool around back then. So, I am going back for a taste of Burmese girls and to check out one of the Andaman beaches.

P.S. I enjoyed reading your trip report. You described everything just the way it is.

Have you been to Bali? Bali will be more for sightseeing, but any recommendations would be appreciated.

Very valuable suggestions for a quick getaway from PP, if I were staying longer. I would love to go to Myanmar as well, but the scene there seems pretty dull? At least the intel on the net suggests so. Do you think people are keeping things to themselves there?

Thanks for the report, Blancqui. A great resource for those who have never been to PP. Like yourself, Pontoon is not my style. I'd prefer to have my Khmer girl planted in my room well before Pontoon gets going. DD and bar girls are better looking too imo. Daytime is a struggle unless you know PP girls who will grab some lunch with you for free. Kudos to you guys for looking around in the day. I'd rather save my energy and head out when the bars get going at 8 pm.

I was stood up by a girl from wechat in PNH during my last. She kept sending me location update on Wechat till the last 15 minutes. She never turned up and I wasted good hour or two, must have got a better paying customer then me I thought. I was right as she didn't unfriend me and later I saw her posting pics of dinner and gifts with what seemed to be one of her regular customers from Thailand. I kept wondering why would a Thai guy come to PNH and have a Khmer girl when his own kind are plentiful and easily available back home. Guess everyone craves for variety at some point of time.

Besides you were smart enough to do a VC beforehand. Some guys end up having the girl coming in the room directly or creating a scene in the lobby.

Hence my recommendation to all is to always meet a girl in the lobby despite all chats and video engagements, etc and then take things ahead from there. Especially for the girls from social media you have to be slightly more patient and careful.

Its individual preferences that come into play here regarding visiting entertainment places. If you exclude DD and Pontoon then your expenses automatically will be down to $100 or $150 per day on entertainment.

I burned through an average of almost $300+ every day for 6 days. I was doing hostess bars, DD and Pontoon almost every night. I sure did spend less than half on a daily basis in PYX.

I count separately Hotel, Food, Drink, and Misc charges because they would be roughly the same amount anywhere. It is kind of like a fixed cost of travel although certain cities have higher fixed costs than others obviously. The variable cost is how much I spend on girls. So, by my rose-colored cost accounting method PP cost you $540 or $90/ day. This sounds so much better. Ha Ha.

In answer to your questions: No, no, & no although I would add that in my limited experience with DD chicks, the 1st night is ST and 100 bucks with no one watching the clock and whenever I chose to see a particular DD girl a 2nd time, ST always turned into LT and the price remained the same at 100 bucks although a romantic dinner at a nice Khmer restaurant was part of the 2nd get together. But since I don't count dinner as a part of my chick expense account there was no increase in cost. 555.

When most bar girls other than DD girls go for $40-50ST and $50-70 all night the number is more than I'd likely be spending in PP.
