I just found these forums. I have been reading through a few pages and found some good info. I have been in Korea for over 2 years and have been to my fair share of anma and hooker areas. I was hoping that someone could point me in the direction of a good bath house type place. I hear about the places that soap you up and have girls slide around on you and that is one thing I have been wanting to try. I live in the Gangnam are and would appreciate any help.

I'm no expert on the Hill but I've been up there a few times (okay, several times LOL). Anyway, there was sort of a new vibe up there last night and I mean this in a positive way. I'm wondering if it has anything to do with the economy?

First off, the place was empty which is good in my book. I hate mongering with a bunch of people looking on. Thursday night around 9pm and I was the only monger in sight.

With a little negotiation you can get it done on the Hill without breaking the bank.

I was referring to the basic massage and HJ or occasional FS places. I have never found a B2B place and that's what I really want to try. In my time here I have been to the Hill a number of times and RLD. After reading what people have posted about the Hill, I can offer some insight. I went to the hill sporadically over the past 2 years. It hasn't changed too much. You can't go during the day because it has a lot of work being done so I never really see girls out there. You can always negotiate with them but it depends on how busy the night is. Expect the initial offer to be 150k, easily get it down to 120k. The girls are hit or miss most the time. I did go to one at the very top of the hill on the right side and she was gorgeous and great, but unfortunately haven't see her since. My preference for FS is the RLD in Cheonho. It's not hard to find. Walk to the end of Rodeo street and cross the street. Turn left and walk until you start seeing the glowing lights. It is somewhat foreigner friendly. A lot of the shops won't engage you but some will, just walk around until you are invited in. It's usually 100k. NC is an option if you ask the girl in the room, if that's what you are into. Most only use them with any kind of foreigner. I talked to one about it before and she said NC for Korean and everyone else C because as we all know only foreigners have STD.

My only experience of an anma has been technically ok (all services given) but quite disappointing. Plus a Foreigner overcharge (Korean friend of mine was quoted 200k but when there my price became 230k.)

I see you have a lot of posts but how long have you lived there? Been there off and on since 1980. I know Bionicman just commented on it but do you guys think these high-end anmas are worth the big bucks, YMMV aside?

I'm the one who posted about it being not foreigner friendly. Maybe I jut went at the wrong time or maybe I was wearing the wrong clothes I'm not sure. I went there around 530pm and I would assume they would be open but when I rang the bell and the guy opened the door he took a quick look and gave me the "sorry sorry, no".

By any chance are you a gyopo? Thats the only reason I could think they turned me away unless they were actually not open.

What time did you go there? I'm always thinking that if I go there too late at night my chances of being turned away are higher.
