Hello. Heading to Panama in a couple weeks. In the past, I've stayed within walking distance of Habanos and LE Palace, and have been very pleased with the neighborhood "selection". This time I am staying at the Sheraton Grand on the other side of town. Just inquiring of those of you who have stayed in that area if the prospects for mongering are as good as they are in the Habanos / LE Palace side of town. Would prefer to stay near the hotel, but will venture out if I have to.
Enjoyed your detailed report as I passed thru Panama in early November and spent several days there. One night I booked at the Marriot where you stayed. I did not like the room due to excessive condensation on the windows but the Infiniti pool was quite nice. I did not see one attractive girl near the pool or the rooftop bar. Not surprising as they were charging a fee up there to enter and no working girl is going to pay that on a nightly basis. I did see a spectacular looking girl at reception the next afternoon. I thought she just have a BF as to good looking to be there solo. Also, I found out after arriving that they have a joiners fee and tight security. Almost impossible to sneak anyone pass reception.
In the evening, I wandered over to the casino and the area you mentioned where the girls hung out. Again, I saw nothing of interest and to hear from you that they are asking $200 and more is laughable. I gave it and hour or two and called it an evening. I did not know about the LE place you noted in your report but thanks for saving me a trip.
For the most part, I stayed in Casco Viejo though I liked the area, I saw precious little talent and it rained every day ruining any off isthmus island activities and most of the nightlife. Doubt if I will come again.
I would like to make a few corrections and add to my prior posting.
First, for those that might consider staying at the JW Marriott, I would suggest that you reconsider your options. Ladies that I met at the Ocean Casino advised me that there was recently a customer disturbance and now the ladies are not as welcome in the hotel. A few ladies told me that the JW has kicked them out and will not let them work in the hotel. From my experience, I got stopped at the lobby elevators by the Marriott pussy police and was escorted to the front desk to register my girl. Some may feel differently, but I really hate hotels that do this. I get they do not want girls roaming the hotel, but if I personally escort a girl to my room, this should not be an issue. At the JW Marriott in Panama, there is a $100 fee for having an overnight guest. This is absolutely ridiculous and suggest to me that they really do not want hookers in their hotel right now. When I registered my girl, they put some form in front of me to sign and I saw the $100 fee on the form. I advised the person at the desk that I booked my room for two people. She told me that she would have to register my girl as the second guest for the reminder of my stay. The girl I was with told me that the W hotel does not do this. Personally, I like the convenience of the casino in the connected building and the JW has a great breakfast, pool and executive lounge, but I prefer to stay at hotels that are relaxed about having overnight guests.
In regards to Habano's, I was on my way to LE Palace and noticed activity in front of Habano's so I asked my driver to drop me off. There were about 12 girls working the street in front of Habano's and I also went inside to see another dozen girls sitting around with customers. There is nothing appealing about this place and the girls were nothing special, so I walked to LE Palace. To correct my previous post, Habano's is open and there were some customers and girls in there. It was not empty like the night prior.
I returned to LE Palace for a second night and did find a lady much more my type. I want to correct my prior post. Dances are not $14. Dances are $20 for the girl and $14 for the club so each dance cost $34. Given my curiosity, I decided to buy a $180 bottle of Andre sparkling wine (which you can buy at Walmart for $6) so that I could have access to their VIP room. I was originally told that I would have to pay for the bottle and $34/ dance, but then I was told that I could take the girl into the room and only tip her for the dances. I did a lot of dances which were very good and I probably tipped the girl $140 for all of the dances she did. Surprisingly that cheap ass bottle of Andre sparkling wine wasn't so bad. After about an hour of dances, the girl changed and we went to my hotel. Since I bought the bottle, I did not have to pay the exit fee and just paid the girl $250 once we got to the hotel. I do not think it is a great value ($180+$250) but I did enjoy my time in the vip and having this girl at my hotel.
Lastly, my biggest tip for anyone coming to Panama is to focus on the ladies at the casino. The ocean casino attached to the JW has some real lookers. The first night the girls were average. On the second night I went there about 8:30 and the bar had 20-25 girls and some real beauties. I really debated whether to stay and take one or two of the girls or whether I should go back to LE Palace. I got some numbers from a few girls before I left the casino. What I found so interesting was how the girls give you their price. Most start at $200 or $300 per hour. They then will give you a price of $400 or $500 to stay until 6 am. I was offered a threesome for an hour for $150 each. These two girls offered to stay with me at my hotel for five nights for $2000 each. Essentially, they were offering to stay 24 hours for 5 days for $400 per day and give me all of the sex that I could handle. I had other girls at the casino offer to be my "girlfriend" during my stay and one was willing to be with me for $300 per day. To me, this is fairly good value and I would consider this with the right girl, but I get bored with one girl being with me 24 hours a day. So my tip for you guys reading this is to pull from the ocean casino and not waste your time rolling the dice with girls from a web site. The talent at the casino is top notch and the girls will negotiate if they like you and can see themselves spending time with you. You can sit with a girl, have a drink with her, see if there is good chemistry, and then take her to your hotel if it's a good fit. Even if you go for an hour at $200, you would be pressed to get a massage with a happy ending in the US for $200. To me, the best value in Panama is right there in the ocean casino.
Thanks for a good detailed report. Its a known fact in this forum and has been reported multiple times that JW Marriott charges $100 chica fee. If you had registered for two guest, then you can have 2nd guest (same chica) only one time during your entire stay without a fee I think. I agree, Ocean casino is a great spot to pickup girls if you don't want to use online sites like panescorts or skokka.
$400/ per day is a great deal, I missed it. I would have kept one girl for $400 per day and added other girls hourly for 3 somes Food for thought!

Scoped out the scene in the area of Don Julio. Much has changed since Habanos days, but Don Julio still draws the chicas.
