So close to the promised land, just a few quick questions. My friends and I got screwed by american airlines as they changed our flight from 345pm to 1155am on Tues Oct 16. What time should I cross back to make it back for the flight. We have no problem taking a cab from the border to the airport. Figure that may save some time, Definately want to enjoy as much time as we can but definately don't want to navigate when we are loaded. I can take it easy and go hard during the day. Also some good info on decent food would be appreciated, not big on seafood and I have eaten at the ticuan and thought it was good. So a resturant like that is cool, or even a late nite resturant, although I will try the late nite taco stand. Any info is appreciated.

Thanks[/QUOTE]Assuming arriving at the airport 90 minutes ahead of departure, and 45 minutes by cab to the airport, you'll want to be across the border by 9:45. The line will be long at that point, although I have seen a big lull in the line on some Tuesdays. Don't know why, and it's not predictable. Estimate 1.5 hours in line. It usually doesn't take that long, but these days you never can tell. Generally, from about the far end of the drop-off point around the corner, to the agent, is 45m to 1 hour. But, I can't stress enough, you never know and you really don't want to miss your flight, do you? So, be in line no later than 8:15. Earlier is better. The line is so fucked up the poor bastards who live in Tijuana now have to start lining up at 4:00am to get to work in San Diego on time.

You might be happier getting a room in Dago for the night, crossing the border around 3:00am, sacking out for a few hours and then going to the airport.

On Revu, Caesar's has good food. The tapas are generally quite good. If you sit in the main dining room, ask for the complete tapas menu, not the single page inside the main menu.

In San Diego. As far as crossing back, anytime before 3:am otherwise those working in SD will be lining up to cross as early as 3am. Line is short from 11p. 2am week days for the most part.

If not a room on this side, party till 2am then sleep at the airport & inflight.

IMO do the Ticuan. It is less expensive, the rooms are nicer (at least the ones I have stayed at both hotels) , and it is closer to the Zona. Either way it is a $3-5 cab ride.

Iam a transplanted midwestern guy and we could meet up for a beer or 2. As far as the Ticuan goes I always stay there the place is great, very comfortable and safe. The only drawback is if you plan on taking a bunch of different club girls or SG's up you will probably be paying for a room each time, nobody will want to travel to the Ticuan for a 20 or 30 minute date. However if you are looking for a TLN most girls will be happy to go the Ticuan if the price is right probably anywhere from 80 to 200.

And Steve good to hear you are still out there. Will you be attending the Tequila Expo this year?

i still read the board daily, and am living the tijuana life through you, and others like tomjackin (tell speedy i said hello). i will miss the tequila festival this year. the tour of the tijuana jail is still fresh in my mind. the good news for me is that my bank account is soaring, but it is unfortunate for those in tijuana who are missing the money.

i have been reading about those of you who are interested in the ladies of tijuana and making them novias. i would suggest that you proceed with caution. someone wrote that once you are a customer, you will always be a customer for her. in my case that was not true. i had spent a lot of time with a lady in a club. i had never seen her out of the club, e-mailed her, or phoned her, but spent many hours with her in the club. it took about six months before we went arriba, since she was a waitress, and i had no idea that she even went upstairs. i had never seen her go up before. she finally asked me to go up with her. one night i didn't think that she was working and i was playing around with one of the dancers. she came in, walked over, and it was obvious that she was pissed. she looked at my friend, sitting in the booth across from me, and said that she wanted to go arriba with him. i was okay with that (he asked) , and off they go. well he comes back and tells me that it was obviously a grude phuck, and she told him that she "loved" me. what the phuck? later i was arrested for,"being disrepectful to a lady". maybe just a coincidence?

my point in this tale of woe; you don't even have to know that the latin woman cares about you. once they get pissed, getting even isn't an option, screwing you to the wall will be expected. the policia will aid them in that. it was an interesting arrest though. taken to the jail to see the "judge". they had searched me and knew that i had about $400 on me. the fined me 1, 000 pesos (i gave them $80 usd) , and they drove me to the border, after a tour of some of the back areas of tijuana. anyway, be careful with their "hearts", they can take it much more seriously.

i am doing my local mongering a a kmp. the mamasan loves me, and i think it has an effect on the ladies. i get great service from some beautiful ladies, with great bodies. a typical session includes rimming, salad tossing, tea bagging, bbbj, daty, doggie, rcg, cg, and finishing with the "asian squat". these women are beautiful with great bodies. i still miss tijuana though.

Glad you got to the bottom of what really happened that dreadfull morning in Tijuana. When hearing the initial story it sounded like Tijuana's finest were just sitting around waiting to jump on an unsuspecting gringo, (not to say that kind of thing doesn't happen) but I guess it is a little comforting to know that wasn't exactly what happened. It is a reminder to watch your back and always be ready for the unexpected. Glad to hear you are still enjoying life, and sorry to hear you are still boycotting Tijuana (hope you are listning MR. Mayor) I think I will be heading down today to check out opening day of the Tequila festival, and I will hoist a shot in your honor, at least a sample. For it was you who has helped me get through this long relationship thing, by ingraining those words in my mind "The One Who Cares The Most LOSES"
